Electrical connector with sealing feature
An electrical connector includes an outer case, an insulation base, an elastic airtight member and a conductive terminal. The outer case includes a main frame, and a partition member formed within the main frame to define a first slot and a second slot therein. The insulation base is fixedly connected to the main frame, and disposed within the second slot. The elastic airtight member is disposed within the second slot, and interposed between the insulation base and the partition member. The conductive terminal is disposed within the insulation base, the elastic airtight member and the partition member, and extends into the first slot from the partition member, and extending outwards the insulation base from the second slot.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SERVICE LIFE MANAGEMENT USING CORROSION MANAGED CONNECTORS
A computing device of an information handling system includes a connector that receives a component, the connector including a contact that forms a physical connection, with the component, that supports an electrical connection between the connector and the component, the contact includes an interface surface, disposed in a high corrosion risk area of the connector, that forms the physical connection with the component while the component is disposed in the connector. The computing device also includes a corrosion management component that: reduces a rate of corrosion of the contact in the high corrosion risk area of the connector, and increases a second rate of corrosion in a low corrosion risk area of the connector.

Locking connector cable secureness attachment assemblies and methods for protecting electrical connections in a hazardous environment
A connector assembly for protecting electrical connections in a hazardous environment is provided. The connector assembly includes a first connector, a plug casting, and an elongated mesh grip. The plug casting circumscribes and is secured onto the first connector. The elongated mesh grip is coupled to the plug casting, the mesh grip including a mesh sized to surround the electrical cable, the mesh including a first end and a second end. The mesh has a diameter that is a transverse diameter of a channel defined by the mesh and configured to receive an electrical cable therethrough, wherein the diameter of the mesh decreases when one of the first and second ends of the mesh is pulled away from the other of the first and second ends of the mesh.
ELECTRIC TOOL
An electric tool includes a body, a battery pack, and a guide portion including a primary guide unit and a secondary guide unit. The primary guide unit and the secondary guide unit each extend in a preset direction and the primary guide unit and the secondary guide unit each are arranged in the longitudinal direction between a connecting portion of the battery pack and a mounting portion of the body. The primary guide unit and the secondary guide unit implement rigid mating. The primary guide unit includes primary mating surfaces mating with each other in the transverse direction, the secondary guide unit includes secondary mating surfaces mating with each other in the transverse direction, and a ratio of a width of a transverse gap between the primary mating surfaces to a width of a transverse gap between the secondary mating surfaces is greater than or equal to 0.3.
