Hermetic terminal with improved adhesion of glass seal to high power lead

There is provided a hermetic terminal for a large amount of power so as to secure wettability of a lead member to glass and improve hermetic reliability of a glass sealing portion. A hermetic terminal includes: a metal base provided with at least one through hole; a lead inserted in the through hole of the metal base; and an insulating member that seals the lead in the metal base. The lead includes: a core member; a binding member that at least coats an outer diameter portion of the core member; an intermediate member that coats a surface of the binding member and that is composed of a low-electric-resistance material; and an outer coating member that coats the intermediate member and that has a stable glass binding characteristic at a sealing temperature.

The hermetic terminal according to the present disclosure includes a conductor having a pillar shape, a metal ring coaxially positioned with the conductor, an insulating ring coaxially positioned with the conductor, a flange that is disposed on the insulating ring and that divides the conductor into two regions, a first fixing member configured to fix the insulating ring to the conductor, and a second fixing member configured to fix the insulating ring to the flange. The metal ring, the first fixing member, and the second fixing member are formed of an Fe-Co based alloy, an Fe-Co-C based alloy, an Fe-Ni based alloy, or an Fe-Ni-Co based alloy. The metal ring and the first fixing member are connected to each other, and the insulating ring is fixed to the conductor at a distance from the metal ring.

The outer side plate comprises a rearward displace limiting portion. The rearward displace limiting portion cooperates with the corresponding rearward stopped portion of the thermal conducting plate so as to limit relative displacement of the thermal conducting plate relative to the shielding shell toward the rear. Therefore, it may prevent the thermal conducting plate from disengaging.

The high-voltage connector assembly according to embodiments disclosed herein may include a cover defining an outer appearance and a shielding plate designed to shield an electrical noise signal. The cover and the shielding plate may be integrally formed by a double shot molding or insert injection molding. Accordingly, manufacturing time and costs of the cover and the shielding plate may be reduced. In addition, the cover and the shielding plate may be coupled to each other in a more stable manner. Further an outer circumferential portion of the shielding plate may have a higher roughness than the cover. Alternatively, the outer circumferential portion of the shielding plate may be provided with a plate protrusion or an uneven portion. Accordingly, a contact area between the shielding plate and the cover may be increased.
