WATER REPELLENT AGENT, WATER-REPELLENT TREATED MATERIAL, ELECTRICAL CONNECTION STRUCTURE, AND WIRE HARNESS
A water repellent agent is provided that can easily form a water repellent layer that shows high water repellency and has high thermal resistance even without a material containing fluorine atoms, as well as a water-repellent treated material, an electrical connection structure, and a wire harness which have water repellent layers formed of the water repellent agent. The water repellent agent contains hydrophobized silica particles as component A, a resin having a glass transition temperature of 100 C. or higher as component B, an acid-modified resin as component C, and an organic solvent as component D. The water repellent agent has a mass ratio B:C of the component B and the component C in the range of 95:5 to 50:50.

Connector assembly
A penetrator connector assembly is suitable for connecting two parts of an electrical conductor across a pressure barrier in an oil or gas well. The assembly includes a body with a bore for an electrical conductor, a sealing boot that seals an annular space between the conductor and the bore, and a port that transmits a pressure differential between the exterior of the body and the annular space, so that the pressure differential acts on one side of the sealing boot to apply a compressive force and enhance the seal. The assembly also has a spring that can be resiliently energised to apply a compressive force to the sealing boot independently of fluid pressure differentials.

METHOD FOR CONNECTING TWO CONNECTOR PARTS
A method for connecting a movable connector part to a stationary connector part, the movable part being initially placed on a support and the stationary part being covered by a cap. The method includes gripping the cap by element of a lifting tool (10); depositing the cap (6) on the movable part by element of the lifting tool; and transporting the assembly of the cap and movable part onto the stationary part, by element of the lifting tool, in order to connect the stationary part and the movable part (4) to each other.

HOUSING
A female terminal includes a housing main body, a sealing member mounted to the fitting protrusion of the housing main body and sealing between the fitting protrusion and the fitted hood portion of a male housing, and a lock arm including a cantilever-shaped elastic arm portion extending from an outer peripheral surface of the housing main body to a fitting side with the male housing and having a locking portion engaged with and/or disengaged from a locking protrusion formed on the male housing. A protective wall integrally provided at a base of the elastic arm portion is formed on an outer surface of the housing main body, and is provided over the housing main body at a position in the housing main body facing a gap between the hood portion and the housing main body when the fitting protrusion of the housing main body is fitted to the hood portion.

Header connector including press-fit signal contacts
A header connector includes a header housing having a mating end and a mounting end mounted to a circuit board. The header housing has a cavity at the mating end and a flange forming a seal pocket with a seal. A signal contact is received in a signal contact channel of the header housing having a mounting end having a compliant pin configured to be press-fit into a plated via of the circuit board. A ground shield is received in a ground shield channel of the header housing providing electrical shielding for the signal contact. The ground shield has a compliant pin configured to be press-fit into a plated via of the circuit board.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes a housing formed with a L-shape in a side view having a connection portion capable of fitting to a mating connector, a terminal mounted on the housing by inserting a connection terminal portion into a terminal accommodation portion of the connection portion, an electric wire connected to the electric wire of the terminal and led out from the housing, a ferrite core mounted on the electric wire and assembled from the rear side of the housing, and a cover mounted on the rear surface of the housing and covering the terminal and the ferrite core. The cover includes a recessed portion, which receives an end portion of the ferrite core inclined by an external impact, on a facing surface facing the ferrite core assembled to the housing.
