CABLE FASTENING SYSTEM FOR ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
An electrical connector assembly includes an electrical conductor, a cable support, a housing, and a cap. The cable support includes a retainer arm and a cable support protrusion. The housing includes a housing recess and a housing protrusion. The cable support protrusion of the cable support interacts with the housing recess on the housing to support the cable support within the housing. The cap includes a locking mechanism and a tab. The housing protrusion on the housing and the locking mechanism on the cap interact to selectively retain the cap on and release the cap from the housing, and the retaining arm of the cable support and the tab of the locking mechanism interact to selectively move the retaining arm into and out of engagement with the electrical conductor.
Protective cover devices for protecting electrical connectors in industrial equipment
Protective cover devices for associated electrical connectors include a one-piece molded polymeric body including at least one of: (i) at least one stud that is closely slidably received into a corresponding socket of the connector; (ii) a skirt that comprises a recess that receives at least part of the electrical connector therein. The protective cover device is adapted to be engaged with the associated electrical connector to inhibit contact between a surrounding corrosive atmosphere and at least one electrical contact of the associated electrical connector.

CONNECTOR-EQUIPPED ELECTRICAL WIRE AND CONNECTOR HOUSING
A connector-equipped electrical wire includes a connector housing in which a cavity is formed and a terminal-equipped electrical wire inserted into the cavity. In a first state before full fastening by a full fastening portion is achieved and in which a first cavity communicates with a second cavity corresponding thereto, a first portion of the terminal-equipped wire is configured to pass through the second cavity and fit into the first cavity, and a second portion of the terminal-equipped wire is fitted into the second cavity. In a second state in which full fastening by the full fastening portion is achieved, when observed in an axial direction of the cavity, a regulatory surface of an inner surface of the second cavity approaches closer to the second portion than when in the first state.

Plug and method of attaching a vibration protection to a plug
A plug comprises a plug housing, an electrically conductive plug contact disposed in the plug housing, a contact body cooperating with the plug contact, and a slider displaceably guided in a sliding guide formed on the plug housing. The slider has a ramp surface cooperating with the contact body such that the contact body is pushed against the plug contact when the slider is slid into the plug housing.

Electrical device having a seal assembly
An electrical device includes a housing having a mating end and a wire end. One or more contacts attach to the housing proximate the mating end. One or more conductor wires extending from the wire end and connect to the one or more contacts. A seal assembly connects to the housing proximate the wire end. The seal assembly is configured for movement between an opened position and a closed position. The seal assembly has an upper seal and a lower seal configured to mate along an interface in the closed position to limit the ingress of one or more environmental elements into the electrical device.

Connector
A connector (10) includes a wire (W) having a core (W1) coated with an insulation coating (W2). A core accommodating portion (21) accommodates the exposed core (W1). A terminal (30) includes a core connecting portion (32) connected to the core (W1) exposed inside the core accommodating portion (21), and a terminal connecting portion (31) projects from the core connecting portion (32) in a direction intersecting a linear direction of the coated wire (W). A terminal accommodating portion (40) accommodates the terminal (30) and is connected to the core accommodating portion (21). A coating fixing portion (22) fixes the insulation coating (W2) and is connected to the core accommodating portion (21). The core (W1) is movable in the intersecting direction in the core accommodating portion (21). The terminal (31) is movable in the intersecting direction in the terminal accommodating portion (40) as the core (W1) moves.
