Vibration limiting compression protrusions
A connector comprises a connector housing that includes a plurality of channels formed therein through which a corresponding plurality of fasteners may pass. At least a portion of the housing has a first side and a second side. The first side is an elongated body-receiving side and the second side is a mating side. The elongated body may, for example, be a wire, a cable, a hose, or other structure. Each of the channels has an opening. The connector further comprises protrusions extending away from each of the openings. In an unassembled state, the protrusions extend further away from a surface of the housing than a remainder of the mating surface of the connector.
TERMINAL-EQUIPPED COVERED ELECTRIC WIRE AND WIRE HARNESS
A terminal-equipped covered electric wire and a wire harness in which an electrical connection portion where a terminal fitting and an electric wire conductor are electrically connected is covered with a resin cover portion. With the terminal-equipped covered electric wire and the wire harness, the terminal fitting is prevented from being damaged during insertion into a connector housing, and the resin cover portion has improved adhesiveness to the terminal fitting. Provided is a terminal-equipped covered electric wire in which a resin cover portion covering an electrical connection portion includes a first layer made of a thermoplastic elastomer having adhesiveness to the surface of a terminal fitting, and a second layer made of a polyester resin. The adhesive strength between the thermoplastic elastomer and the polyester resin is 1.3 MPa or more. A wire harness including such a terminal-equipped covered electric wire is configured.

CARD EDGE CONNECTOR SYSTEM
A card edge connector includes a housing having a mounting end mounted to a host circuit board and a mating end having a card slot receiving a circuit card. Upper and lower contacts are received in upper and lower contact channels of the housing. The upper and lower contacts include corresponding mounting ends and mating ends with the mounting ends mounted to the host circuit board and the mating ends having first and second mating interfaces defining first and second points of contact with the same contact pad of the circuit card.
Electrical connector comprising a plurality of electrically conductive strips
An electrical connector (1) including a male contact (5) and a female contact (10) movable between a non-inserted position, and an inserted position, wherein an electrically conductive insertable portion (12) of the male contact (5) is inserted along an insertion axis (D) into a housing (14) defined by the female contact, the female contact including: an electrically conductive body (22), a plurality of strips (26) protruding axially from the body and angularly distributed around the insertable portion in the inserted position, the strips being electrically conductive and radially flexible, the body and the strips defining the housing, and at least one annular contention member (28) positioned on radially external faces (30) of the strips and adapted for exerting a centripetal radial pressure on the strips in the inserted position, the strips having radially internal faces (42) flattened against the insertable portion in the inserted position.
Terminal-equipped electrical wire and wire harness using the same
A terminal-equipped electrical wire according to a first aspect of the present invention includes an electrical wire having a conductor and an electrical-wire coating member covering the conductor, and a crimp terminal having a crimp-terminal main body electrically connected to the conductor of the electrical wire, and an anticorrosive plating layer provided to a portion of a surface of the crimp-terminal main body, the portion being in contact with at least the conductor of the electrical wire. The conductor is made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy, and the anticorrosive plating layer is made of a NiZn alloy having a Zn content of 69 to 78% by mass.

Lock for an explosion proof connector
An explosion proof connector is provided with first and second electrical connectors and first and second threaded sidewalls that surround the electrical connectors. The threaded sidewalls engage to secure the electrical connectors in electrical connection. Either the first threaded sidewall is rotatable relative to the first electrical connector or the second threaded sidewall is rotatable relative to the second electrical connector. A ratchet lock is carried by the first sidewall, and a ratchet surface is carried by the second sidewall, the ratchet lock being releasable and biased toward engagement with the ratchet surface. The ratchet lock permits rotation of the second sidewall relative to the first sidewall in a first direction and prevents rotation of the second sidewall relative to the first sidewall in a second direction. A release mechanism disengages the ratchet lock and permits the second sidewall to rotate in the second direction relative to the first sidewall.
High pressure sealed electrical connector
An electrical connector includes a housing, a conductive pin, a first seal, and a sealant. The housing has a bore and first and second ends exposed at different pressures when in use. The bore extends between the first and second ends. The conductive pin is arranged within the bore and configured to engage a first wire at the first end and a second wire at the second end. The first seal is arranged around the conductive pin and engaged between the conductive pin and the bore to provide seal therebetween. The sealant is provided to fill the bore between the first end and the first seal. The sealant may be an epoxy-based sealant.
Wire harness
In order to provide a wire harness with which it is possible to suppress vibration of a coating material and a central conductor between a shield conductor swaging position and a terminal, this wire harness (1) is provided with: a first cable (21) that has a central conductor (201), a coating material (202) that coats the central conductor (201), and a shield conductor (203) that covers the coating material (202); a terminal (30) that is connected to the central conductor (201) of the cable (21); a connector housing (40) that houses an end of the first cable (21) along with the terminal (30); a first ferrule (51) that is electrically connected to the shield conductor (203) and has the central conductor (201) and the coating material (202) inserted thereinto; and a fixing member (61) that fixes the first ferrule (51) to the connector housing (40). The first ferrule (51) has a first swaging portion (511) for swaging the shield conductor (203) and a second swaging portion (512) for swaging the coating material (202), said second swaging portion (512) being positioned further to the terminal (30) side than the first swaging portion (511).
