CABLE CONNECTOR AND CARRIER MODULE THEREOF
A carrier module of a cable connector includes a circuit board and a connecting clip clamping the circuit board. The circuit board has a first surface and a second surface. The connecting clip has a clamping portion and a plurality of positioning arms. The clamping portion has a connecting sheet and two clamping sheets curvedly extended from the connecting sheet. The clamping sheets are respectively abutted against the first and second surfaces. The positioning arms are respectively connected to the clamping sheets and respectively arranged at two opposite sides of the clamping portion. The positioning arms are respectively configured to fix a plurality of cables disposed on the clamping sheets. Thus, the carrier module of the instant disclosure provides a positioning effect for the cables by the connecting clip fixed firmly on the circuit board with good common grounding performance. Besides, the instant disclosure also provides a cable connector.
Modular Backshell Housing
A backshell housing includes a pair of housing parts including a first housing part and a second housing part friction welded to one another. A cable passage of the first housing part is continuous with a cable passage of the second housing part.
APPARATUS FOR SECURING AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE TO A SUPPORT STRUCTURE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCORPORATING SAME
An apparatus for mounting an electronic device to a support structure includes a coupling member, a clamp member, and a latch mechanism. The coupling member has an elongated electronic device support portion and a clamp support portion. The clamp support portion extends from one end of the device support portion in a direction substantially normal to the device support portion. The clamp member includes a base, a first arched clamp portion, a second arched clamp portion, and a hinge. The base is coupled to the clamp support portion of the coupling member. The first clamp portion has a first end attached to the base. The hinge pivotally couples the first ends of the two clamp portions such that the arch shapes of the two clamp portions oppose each other. The latch mechanism is configured to latch the second ends of the two clamp portions to the support structure.
CONNECTOR WITH CLAMP
In a plug connector, a ground contact conductor includes: a fitting portion to fit to a ground contact conductor of a mate connector; and a clamp portion to hold a second exposing portion of a coaxial cable (a portion of a terminal portion of the coaxial cable where a part of an insulating sheath has been removed) to contact a shield exposed at the second exposing portion, without the ground contact conductor overlapping an outer peripheral surface of the insulating sheath. The clamp portion is located at an end of the ground contact conductor farthest from the fitting portion. The second exposing portion is adjacent to a first exposing portion formed at the terminal portion where a signal line is exposed.
Lever-type connector
A lever-type connector (10) includes wires (24), a housing (14), a cover (32), a lever (16) and a binding band (44). The lever (16) is mounted on the housing (14) for rotation between connection start and connection end positions. The cover (32) includes a wire draw-out portion (34) for bending the wires (24) pulled from the housing (14) and a wire fixing portion (36) for fixing the wires (24) to the wire draw-out portion (34). The wire fixing portion (36) includes a first side wall (38) on an inner side, a second side wall (40) on an outer side and a bottom wall (42) between the first and second side walls (38, 40). Contact of the lever (16) with the second side wall (40) stops rotation at the connection start position. The bottom wall (42) includes two band insertion holes (46) through which the binding band (44) is inserted.
CONNECTION BETWEEN A REINFORCED HARNESS AND AN ELECTRICAL COMPONENT
A connection includes a widened reinforcement harness which comprises a reinforced harness, a non-deformable ferrule and a reinforcement portion which has a greater diameter than the reinforcement of the harness, the non-deformable ferrule being arranged around the harness with the reinforcement of the harness folded on the outer side of the non-deformable ferrule, a first end of the reinforcement portion being attached around the folded portion of the reinforcement of the harness, the connection further comprising an integrated coupling connector, a second end of the reinforcement portion of the widened reinforcement harness being attached to a section of the integrated coupling connector. This connection is particularly advantageous for the small harness, wherein the reinforcement of the harness has a diameter which is too small to surround the section of an integrated coupling connector.
COMMUNICATION CABLE WITH CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A connector-attached communication cable for use in communications at 100 Mbps or above is provided with: a first terminal; a connector member made of resin accommodating the first terminal; a conductor electrically connected to the first terminal; and a communication cable having an insulating layer covering an outer periphery of the conductor. The connector member is provided with a clamp portion protruding from an inner peripheral surface of the connector member and biting into the insulating layer.
MEDICAL SENSOR, REUSABLE PORTION OF MEDICAL SENSOR, AND DISPOSABLE PORTION OF MEDICAL SENSOR
A reusable portion includes a first connector and a light emitter. A disposable portion includes a support, a second connector and a light detector. The support has a translucent portion and adapted to be attached on a body of a subject. The second connector is supported by the support and configured to couple with the first connector. The light detector is supported by the support and configured to output a signal corresponding to an amount of light incident on the light detector. Under a condition that the first connector and the second connector are coupled, the light emitter is disposed so as to face the translucent portion, so that the first connector is enabled to detect the signal via the second connector.
Hinged strain relief backshells, cable assemblies and methods for strain relief
A hinged strain relief backshell, selectively disposed about a cable, adjacent to a cable connector for selective assembly with the connector, includes a first integral semi-cylindrical backshell half and a second integral semi-cylindrical backshell half second hinged to the first integral backshell half. The integral semi-cylindrical backshell halves configured to be to be selectively disposed about the cable with one another. Each integral semi-cylindrical backshell half defining complementary half-threads defined by the respective backshell half and corresponding wrench flats defined in an outside surface portion of each backshell half. At least one of the integral semi-cylindrical backshell halves defining at least one strain clamp ear portion extending from a connector distal portion of the backshell half for retraining the cable at least in a direction parallel to the cable.
POWER CONNECTOR HAVING A WIRE RELEASE MECHANISM
A power connector includes a terminal block holding terminals in terminal channels with terminating ends configured to be electrically coupled to corresponding wires at separable interfaces. The power connector includes a rear insert covering the terminating ends of the terminals having wire ports configured to receive the corresponding wires during a wire poke-in process. The power connector includes biasing members associated with the terminals each including a pusher configured to be biased against the wire to push the wire into direct physical contact with the separable interface of the corresponding terminal.
