Provided is a connector including: at least one plate-like housing body; a plurality of groove-like terminal housing chambers each opened in an upper surface of the housing body and parallelly arranged; a plurality of connection terminals provided at ends of a plurality of electrical wirings and housed and disposed in the terminal housing chambers, respectively; an electrical wiring support part supporting the plurality of electrical wirings extending from a back end side opening part of the terminal housing chambers; a sheet-like reinforced member which is placed on an upper surface of the electrical wiring support part and the plurality of electrical wirings are fixed to in a state of parallelly arranged; and a cover part overlapping with the upper surface of the housing body to cover the terminal housing chambers and sandwiching the sheet-like reinforced member between the cover part and the electrical wiring support part.

The stress control sleeve includes an insulating portion and a conductive portion. When the cable termination apparatus is assembled the conductive portion of the stress control sleeve is in contact with an end portion of the screen layer.

The invention relates to a cable clamping device, for example for an electrical connector, comprising at least one bushing and a clamping ring. The bushing and the clamping ring both comprise an opening for the passage of a cable. A bushing has a number of bushing portions which, joined together, form a sleeve about the cable. Two flanges bear the bushing portions and are articulated to a casing so as to pivot between an unclamped position of each bushing, in which the cable can be moved, and a clamped position, in which each bushing is kept clamped to the cable by the clamping ring. Locking means keep the clamping ring in the position in which the cable is clamped by the bushing.

A coaxial cable connector has a body and a longitudinal axis bounding an interior of the body. A pawl is carried in the interior of the body for engaging with a coaxial cable applied to the interior and for preventing the removal of the cable after having been applied to the interior. The pawl moves out of and into interference with the cable in response to the introduction of the cable into the interior and to the retraction of the cable along the longitudinal axis, respectively.

An electrical power or electronic data unit includes an outer housing and an inner housing that is insertable into the outer housing. The outer housing has an outer front face panel defining an outer receptacle opening and the inner housing has an inner rear housing portion plus an inner front face portion defining an inner receptacle opening aligned with the outer receptacle opening. A circuit board substrate is positioned inside the inner housing with an electrical contact mounted to the board substrate and aligned with and accessible through the inner and outer receptacle openings. A contact support extends rearwardly from the inner front face portion adjacent the inner receptacle opening, the contact support serving to limit movement of the electrical contact during insertion of a plug or prong into engagement with the electrical contact.
