A shielded electrical cable includes conductor sets extending along a length of the cable and spaced apart from each other along a width of the cable. First and second shielding films are disposed on opposite sides of the cable and include cover portions and pinched portions arranged such that, in transverse cross section, the cover portions of the films in combination substantially surround each conductor set. An adhesive layer bonds the shielding films together in the pinched portions of the cable. A transverse bending of the cable at a cable location of no more than 180 degrees over an inner radius of at most 2 mm causes a cable impedance of the selected insulated conductor proximate the cable location to vary by no more than 2 percent from an initial cable impedance measured at the cable location in an unbent configuration.

Wire harness

It is an object of the present invention to ensure a high water-stopping property of a wire harness including a waterproofing connector section that is molded from a resin, by suppressing a variation in the outer size of a seal section of the connector section. The connector section is made from a first synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a part of a terminal fitting of the terminated electric cable used as an insert section. A water-stopping section is made from a second synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a section extending from a part of the terminal fitting to an insulation coating of the terminated electric cable used as an insert section. The seal section is made from the second synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a part of the connector section used as an insert section. The second synthetic resin is softer than the first synthetic resin.

WATERPROOF STRUCTURE FOR TERMINAL OF WIRE WITH TERMINAL FITTING

The present invention provides a waterproof structure for a terminal of a wire with a terminal fitting provided with a waterproof block made of resin, the waterproof block covering an end portion of an insulation coated wire which is coupled to a terminal fitting. The waterproof block includes a waterproof portion covering a coupling portion coupling the end portion of the wire and the terminal fitting, the waterproof portion adhering to an outer circumferential surface of an end of an outer skin of the wire, and a cylindrical portion projecting cylindrically from the waterproof portion along the outer skin of the wire. The cylindrical portion has a smaller cross sectional area than the waterproof portion and has rigidity more similar to the outer skin than the waterproof portion in desired bending and torsional directions of the wire and is adhered to an end-adjacent outer circumferential surface of the outer skin.

Holder for a sensor unit

A holder for a sensor unit, has at least two bus bars, wherein an internal electrical interface to a measuring transducer is formed at first ends of the at least two bus bars, and an external electrical interface for a connector module is formed at second ends of the at least two bus bars. An alignment component surrounds the at least two bus bars and is arranged between the internal electrical interface and the external electrical interface, wherein an alignment of the alignment component defines an outgoing direction of the second ends of the at least two bus bars and of the external electrical interface.

Multicore cable and method for manufacturing the same

A cable includes an electric line having a plurality of cores with contacts being attached to ends of the cores. A plug connector has a contact carrier which accommodates the contacts in such a manner that the contacts are disposed in the contact carrier with a directional component that is oriented in parallel to a first direction. A collar is integrally formed on the contact carrier. The collar fixes the electrical line in position and bends the cores such that the cores have a directional component that is oriented in parallel to a second direction. The first direction is orthogonal to the second direction.

Source energy connector pigtail

The present invention provides a ruggedized heavy duty source connector adapted for use on large air guns. The source connector comprises reinforcing fibers in the cable jacket that are anchored to the connector front shell, an external blast shield in place of a rear shell, and a fatigue resistant strain relief overmold.

Calibrator lead set for automated calibration

A calibrator lead set, which electrically couples a first device and a second device during calibration of the second device, includes a cable having multiple wires, a first interface connector coupled to a first end of the wires of the cable, and a plurality of second interface connectors coupled to a second end of the wires that is opposite the first end of the wires. The first interface connector includes a connector retaining portion, multiple connection terminals extending from the connector retaining portion, and a sheath extending from the connector retaining portion and surrounding the connection terminals extending from the connector retaining portion. The sheath may be transparent to facilitate positioning of the connection terminals of the first interface connector. The second interface connectors may include a first sheathed, double banana plug connector and a second sheathed, double banana plug connector stackable on the first sheathed, double banana plug connector.

The present disclosure provides a cable connector assembly that includes a differential pair cable having a pair of conductors secured to contact pads formed on a printed circuit board. A housing and cover are configured to be secured together and include a cavity for receiving the printed circuit board and the cable. A slug is formed around a portion of the cable and is in intimate contact with a shield layer of the cable. Upon assembly of the cover to the housing, the slug is disposed in the pocket with a projection formed on the plug that engages a shoulder in the pocket to maintain a rigid connection between the lug connector housing and the cable and limit the stress that can be transferred to the connection between the conductors of the cable and the printed circuit board.
