LOCKING AND UNLOCKING SYSTEM
20170352986 · 2017-12-07 ·

A secure locking and unlocking system includes a plug body that is cylindrical in shape, a locking ring and a notched washer. One face of the notched washer is positioned on the locking surface of the locking ring. The system further includes a holding pin that locks the position of a locking element and an upper ring mounted on the locking ring. The locking ring includes a ramp-shaped groove with a linear part, a rising ramp and a descending ramp. A ramp spring is configured so that the locking or unlocking movement of the upper ring is mobile and the locking ring is fixed. The upper ring includes a hole in which a lug is placed. The end of the lug cooperates with the ramp-shaped groove of the locking ring that guides the upper ring in relation to the locking ring.

BACKSHELL INSTALLATION GUIDE
20170352977 · 2017-12-07 ·

An installation guide for a backshell installation guide is disclosed herein. The installation guide includes a first feature formed therein to receive at least a portion of the backshell to retain the backshell in the installation guide. The backshell guide also includes a second feature formed therein to align the installation guide with a portion of an equipment rack containing a circuit card to which the backshell is to be connected. The alignment feature positions mating connectors of the backshell in alignment with connectors of the circuit card facilitating interconnection of the mating connectors and the connectors by moving the installation guide toward the circuit card with the alignment feature engaged with the portion of the equipment rack.

CONNECTOR AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE

A connector and an electronic device, to resolve a problem of poor mountability of the connector. The connector includes a housing, a conductive core, and a fastening structure. The housing has a channel that passes through a first end and a second end of the housing. The conductive core is disposed in the channel. A solder leg is disposed on one end of the conductive core, and the solder leg protrudes from the first end of the housing and is configured to be soldered to a circuit board. The fastening structure is configured to fasten the housing to a panel. The conductive core may be directly soldered to the circuit board, so that a connection effect between the conductive core and the circuit board can be improved, and mounting steps can be reduced.

An F-male port includes a nut with internal threads that are configured to provide a mechanical fit and lock of the F-male port with an F-female port. The F-male port further includes a mating interface having an insert with an angled surface, wherein the mating interface is adaptable to differentials in surfaces of mated F-female ports. The F-male port also includes a nut retainer configured to hold the nut in place, wherein when the nut is torqued down, force is applied to the nut retainer and the nut retainer pulls the front of the insert with it to create a mechanical contact between the F-female port and the insert.

Expandable cable connector torque adapter

Torque adapter for a cable connector that expands to fit connector nuts of different sizes. The adapter fits around the cable connector and engages three of the corners of a hex nut with matching recessed regions in its inner surface. It has three slots that receive the other three corners of the connector nut. The adapter is flexible so that the slots may widen to accommodate connector nuts of larger widths. The outer surface may be hexagonal so that a wrench or similar tool may be used to turn the torque adapter.

ETHERNET CABLE CONNECTOR
20170346200 · 2017-11-30 ·

An Ethernet cable assembly including a cable with nine elongated conductors, a first connector and a second connector located on opposing ends of the cable, and a coupler for electrically coupling with one or both of the connectors. The connectors may each include nine pin receptacles electrically coupled with one of the elongated conductors. The nine receptacles may be arranged with one center receptacle surrounded by eight outer receptacles, symmetrically arranged about a line of symmetry passing through the center receptacle, such that when identical first or second connectors of another cable faces one of the first and second connectors, complementary crossover pairs of the receptacles match up with positive receptacles matching positive receptacles and negative receptacles matching negative receptacles. To couple these identical Ethernet connectors with each other, the coupler may have pins simply passing from one side of the coupler housing to another, without any crossover hardware required therein.

Cable connector

A cable connector relates to a field of cable connecting technology. The cable connector includes a main body assembly including an insulating main body and conductive main bodies, a first clamping assembly, and a second clamping assembly. The conductive main bodies are disposed on the insulating main body. Two ends of each of the conductive main bodies extend outwards from bottom portions of the first accommodating groove and the second accommodating groove. The two ends of each of the conductive main bodies are sharp structures. The first clamping assembly includes a first clamping piece movably disposed up and down in the first accommodating groove and a first operating piece disposed on the insulating main body. The second clamping assembly includes a second clamping piece movably disposed up and down in the second accommodating groove and a second operating piece disposed on the insulating main body.
