PIN AND SLEEVE DEVICE WITH FEATURES TO FACILITATE EASIER ASSEMBLY
An electrical pin and sleeve device is disclosed. The pin and sleeve device incorporating one or more features to facilitate easier assembly. For example, the pin and sleeve device may include an interrupted thread or a multi-start thread for coupling a first or main housing portion to a second or front housing portion of the device. In this manner, the outer housing can be assembled together with minimal number of turns to facilitate easier and faster assembly. Additionally, and/or alternatively, the front housing portion and the main housing portion may include a key such as, for example, a releasable lock (e.g., a spring plunger assembly) for indexing/indicating the proper rotational position of the front housing relative to the main housing to limit or prevent over-rotation. Additionally, and/or alternatively, a hollow O-ring may be positioned between the first and second housing portions.
LINEAR ACTUATOR SYSTEM WITH CONTROL CABLE CONNECTOR
A linear actuator system with a controller, said controller comprising a controller and programmable means for controlling the operation of an electrical motor. The electrical linear actuator system comprises a user control unit (1), an electrical cord with a plug for connecting the user control unit (1) and the controller, where the controller and/or the user control unit comprises a socket (1a) for receiving the plug (2). The plug (2) comprises a locking ring (5), which is rotatable relative to the plug (2), and the socket (1 a) comprises an opening (16) for receiving the plug (2) including the locking ring (5) in the opening (16) of the socket (1 a). The socket (1 a) further comprises an aperture (4) through which a part of the locking ring (5) is accessible when the plug (2) including the locking ring (5) is inserted into the opening (16) of the socket (1a). The locking ring (5) and the opening (16) of the socket are adapted such that the locking ring (5), when inserted in the opening (16), can be rotated between an unlocked position and a locked position: where, in the unlocked position, a protrusion (8a, 8b) is received in and aligned with an axial part (12a, 12b) of a recess (12), such that the plug (2) may freely be inserted into or removed from the socket (1a), and where, in the locked position, the protrusion (8a, 8b) engages the radial part (12c,12d) of the recess (12), such that the plug (2) is prevented from being unplugged.

CONNECTOR SHROUD
The connector shroud of the present invention includes an inner housing, a coupling nut and a lock nut. The inner housing is hollow and a grooved control link is formed on the outer surface of the inner housing. The grooved control link extends in a longitudinal direction. The coupling nut is hollow and is sleeved onto the inner housing. A receiving recess is formed on the inner surface of the front end of the coupling nut for accommodating a protrusion provided on a flange. A tab protrudes from the rear end of the coupling nut. A control slot is formed on the tab and includes a first section and a second section. The second section communicates with the first section and extends in a direction not parallel to the longitudinal direction. The lock nut is hollow and sleeved onto the inner housing. A first pin and a second pin are formed on the inner surface of the lock nut. The first pin is disposed in the grooved control link. The second pin is located in the second section, wherein the movement of the lock nut causes the coupling nut to rotate.
