20210336387 · 2021-10-28 ·

A connector position assurance device (CPA) cooperated with a plug connector to ensure a latch of the plug connector located in a releasing state or a blocked state, includes a base including a downwardly deflectable center arm and a pair of sidewardly deflectable side arms enclosing the center arm in a transverse direction. The bottom surface of the center arm have an engagement protrusion, each side arms have an engagement protrusion which protruding in a transverse direction. The CPA is maintained in a front blocked position or a rear releasing position in the connector to ensure the latch blocked or released.

A connector includes a protrusion. The protrusion protrudes toward a distal end side to serve as a distal end of the connector. The connector moves in a diagonal direction relative to a first separator. A worker positions the connector in a Z direction, before moving the connector. With an upward protrusion and an inward protrusion formed, the worker standing by a first side wall looks into a casing from above to see a portion around an attachment portion. When the connector is positioned close to the attachment portion, the worker looking into the casing from above cannot see a bottom surface of the connector. The worker can see the protrusion even when he or she cannot see the bottom surface.

Electrical connector housing compatible with two terminal types

An electrical connector housing has a plurality of socket cavities configured to receive single terminal inserts or bus inserts introduced from a rearward section. At least one row of socket cavities is formed as cylindrical cavities extending in the housing in parallel manner along an insertion direction running from the rearward to the forward section. Adjacent cavities in the row are separated by a partition wall. First locking means are provided in the socket cavities for locking in place a single terminal insert arranged in a given cavity. Second locking means are provided for locking in place a bus insert inserted in a corresponding number of socket cavities. The partition walls comprise, in the rearward section, slots extending in the insertion direction to accommodate the bus plate of the bus insert.

Connector position assurance locking mechanism and method of operating the connector position assurance locking mechanism

Connector apparatus having a male connector assembly, a female connector assembly, and a connector position assurance (CPA) device. The connector position assurance (CPA) device is inserted into one of the connector assemblies to lock the male connector assembly and female connector assembly together as an additional locking assurance.

Electrical connector having a locking clip

The invention relates to an electrical connector (1), having at least one first cut-out introduced in the electrical connector housing (2), a bolt (11) movably arranged in said first cut-out, and a locking clip (3), which is pivotably attached to the electrical connector housing (2) and which has at least one second cut-out, wherein the at least one first cut-out and the at least one second cut-out are aligned with each other in a state of locking to a mating electrical connector and the bolt (11) arranged in the at least one first cut-out protrudes into the at least one second cut-out of the locking clip (3), whereby the locking clip (3) is fastened in the pivoting motion thereof.

Board-to-board electrical connector with lock disengageable by an operation portion

An electrical connector that maintains connection stability and enables easy removal so as not to cause any damage during removal with a reduced size and reduced profile. At the time of removal of two connectors, when an operation portion of a locking member of the receptacle connector is pushed inward in the longitudinal pitch direction, a locking piece pushes and spreads an engagement portion of an engagement member outward widthwise, and simultaneously a protrusion portion is also moved outward widthwise, whereby the aforementioned lapped state is released and unlocked, enabling removal. When the operation portion is released, the locking piece is pushed inward widthwise by resiliency of the engagement portion, and the protrusion portion is returned to the initial position corresponding to the position in which the protrusion portion is lapped with a step portion when viewed from the fitting direction at the time of completion of fitting.

An USB female socket, a button controller and a smart home. The USB socket may include a housing, a rubber core, and a set of terminals. The housing may define a cavity extending through a front end and a rear end of the housing. The set of terminals may include a first contact terminal and a plurality of second contact terminals. A front end of the first contact terminal may be located below a front end of a second contact terminal adjacent to the first contact terminal and thereby a variable gap may be formed between the front end of the first contact terminal and the front end of the adjacent second contact terminal.

Connector and connector assembly for fixing connection terminals of different sizes

The application discloses a connector and a connector assembly. The connector has a housing and a terminal retaining portion. The housing is provided with a cavity; the terminal retaining portion is disposed in the cavity and configured for fixing connection terminals; the terminal retaining portion is provided with a plurality of first mounting holes configured for accommodating first connection terminals and a plurality of second mounting holes configured for accommodating second connection terminals; the first mounting hole has a cross sectional size larger than that of the second mounting hole; the plurality of first mounting holes are disposed around all of the second mounting holes. Compared with prior art, in the connector assembly provided by the application, first through-holes are arranged around second through-holes, so that the connection terminals having larger sizes for larger current therethrough can be disposed at the surrounding and be farther away from each other to help reduce the internal temperature rise of the connector thus to be safe and convenient for use.
