Connection Assembly
A connection assembly includes a first housing part, a second housing part pluggable with the first housing part, and a joint connector held between the first housing part and the second housing part. The first housing part has a plurality of contact element receptacles and a plurality of latching elements. The latching elements latch a plurality of contact elements in the contact element receptacles. The second housing part has a locking section locking one of the latching elements in a latching position. The joint connector connects at least two of the contact elements.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY HAVING LOW PROFILE
A connector assembly includes a circuit board that includes conductive front pads conductive rear pads, a cable terminated at the rear pads, and a unitary front housing assembled to the front end the circuit board. The connector assembly also includes flexible contacts assembled to the unitary front housing. The front pads make contact with and deflect the flexible contacts away from the circuit board. The connector assembly also includes a conductive shield assembled to the unitary front housing, and a unitary rear housing tightly overmolded around at least the circuit board and portions of the unitary front housing, the cable, and the shield.
CONNECTOR RECORDING SYSTEM WITH READABLE AND RECORDABLE INDICIA
The invention generally provides a connector recording system or platform that includes a recording system designed to interact with a connector system to read an indicia and then transfer, store, and display information associated with the positioning of the connector system in the installed component or device. The connector system includes a male housing assembly, a female housing assembly coupled to the male housing assembly in a connected state, and a connector position assurance assembly with the indicia and a locking member that is movable between locked and unlocked positions. In the locked position, the locking member secures the male housing assembly to the female housing assembly and the indicia can be read by the scanner to signal that the connector position assurance assembly is in the locked position. In the unlocked position, the indicia is in a state that does not allow the scanner to obtain information from the indicia.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
An electrical connector comprises an insulating body, a pair of first terminal members, a pair of second terminal members, and a fastening part. The insulating body comprises a mating groove. The pair of first terminal members is disposed in the mating groove. Each of the first terminal members comprises a plurality of first elastic contacting parts. The pair of second terminal members is disposed in the mating groove. The pair of first terminal members is disposed between the pair of second terminal members. Each of the second terminal members comprises a plurality of second elastic contacting parts. The second elastic contacting part abuts against the first elastic contacting portion correspondingly. The fastening part fastens the pair of first terminal members and the pair of second terminal members.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A plug connector adapted for connecting corresponding wires includes an insulative body integrally formed with two rows of plug contacts in a lateral direction and a transverse bar. The plug contacts are categorized with differential-pair contacts and grounding contacts alternately arranged with each other in a longitudinal direction. The transverse bar extends along the longitudinal direction perpendicular to the lateral direction and is unitarily linked to rear ends of all the grounding contacts of each row of plug contacts while being isolated from the differential-pair contacts. All the contacts and the transverse bar are stamped from a same sheet metal initially, and the differential-pair contacts are successively disconnected from the transverse bar after the plug contacts are integrally formed with the insulative body.
Connector with inner and outer housings and a cover, with the cover and the inner housing being independently separable from the outer housing while the connector is connected to a mating connector
A connector (1) is provided with an inner housing (20) to be fit to an inner periphery of a mating housing (M) and an outer housing (30) fittable to an outer periphery of the mating housing (M). The outer housing (30) is held on the inner housing (20) by first locks (50) before connection to the mating housing (M), is held connected to the mating housing (M) by a second lock (60) at the time of connection to the mating housing M, and is separated from the inner housing (20) and held connected to the mating housing (M) by releasing the first locks (50) at the time of separation from the mating housing (M).
Plug connector with latch hooks
The invention relates to a plug connection (1) having a plug connector (2) and a mating plug connector (3). The plug connector (2) and the mating plug connector (3) can be plugged together in order to form the plug connection (1), wherein the plug connector (2) has a contact support (4) with at least one contact chamber for receiving a contact partner, the contact support (4) is inserted into an outer housing (5) of the plug connector (2), each contact partner is primarily locked in the respective contact chamber, and a secondary lock (6) is provided for a secondary locking of the contact partners in the respective contact chambers. The invention is characterized in that the outer housing (5) has at least one locking hook (13) which interacts with the contact support (4). The contact support (4) has a hook mating geometry (14), and the at least one locking hook (13) is aligned diagonally to a central axis of the outer housing (5).
Connector assembly
A connector assembly includes a wire end connector for electrically connecting to a board end connector. The wire end connector includes a main body portion and an insertion portion. The insertion portion is connected to the main body portion, and the insertion portion is configured to couple to the board end connector. The main body portion is provided with a plurality of elastic claws extending outward from the main body portion to press on the board end connector when the insertion portion is coupled to the board end connector so as to stably connect the wire end connector to the board end connector.
