A plug is connectable to an electrical socket which has concentric ring shaped openings housing electrical contacts. The plug has a body supporting electrically conductive concentric rings insertable into the socket to contact the electrical contacts to form electrical connections. A hollow post extends away from the plug body and has a transverse aperture therethrough. A rod with a narrowed portion is slideable within the post. A spring biases the rod towards a latched position in which the narrow portion is not adjacent to the transverse aperture. A cross-brace is connected to a portion of the rod which extends outside of the post. Pins engage the cross brace and can be pushed to move the brace, and thereby push the rod to position the narrowed portion to an unlatched position adjacent the aperture to enable removal of the plug.

SECURING SYSTEM FOR PLUG CONNECTORS

Embodiments of a securing system for plug connectors may have an adapter and a pair of housing parts, each with at least one plug place with a plug place interface for receiving the adapter whose exterior may have an adapter interface for positioning in the plug space The adapter may have an interior geometry for receiving a plug connector. The exterior of the adapter and the plug place may form a primary securing means for securing the adapter in the respective plug place when the adapter is inserted into a defined plug position to secure the adapter in the plug place. Embodiments may include a secondary securing means. which can be plugged into the housing part up to a defined end position at which the secondary securing device to secure the plug connector in the adapter.

Connector on electric vehicle for charging the electric vehicle

A connector (1) includes a first terminal with a first flange, a second terminal with a second flange, a housing (10) having first and second accommodating portions (14, 16), and a retainer. The first terminal is at a proper position in a front-rear direction in the housing (10) by being in the first accommodating portion (14) with the first flange locked by a first lock in the first accommodating portion (14). The second terminal is at a proper position in a front-rear direction in the housing (10) by being in the second accommodating portion (16) and having the second flange locked by a second lock in the second accommodating portion (16), but is rearward of the proper position in the front-rear direction when the second terminal is in the first accommodating portion (14) and the second flange is locked by the first lock.

An implantable blood pump system is disclosed herein. The implantable blood pump system includes an implantable blood pump, a controller coupled to the blood pump, a connector receptacle, and a connector insert. The connector receptacle can include a plurality of contacts, and a following surface. The connector insert can be received within the connector receptacle to couple a plurality of insert contacts with the plurality of contacts of the connector receptacle. The connector insert can include walls defining a follower receptacle that can receive a portion of the following surface when the connector insert is in a desired alignment with respect to the connector receptacle, and a cam surface that can engage with the following surface to bias the connector insert to the desired alignment with respect to the connector receptacle when the connector insert is inserted into the connector receptacle.

PLUG ADAPTER FOR DOCKING ONTO A SOLENOID VALVE

A plug adapter connects to a solenoid valve already mounted in a motor vehicle. The plug adapter has a plug connector for receiving an electrical control signal from a control unit of the motor vehicle for operating the solenoid valve. The plug adapter includes a solenoid valve connector for detachable coupling of the plug adapter to the plug connector of the solenoid valve. The solenoid valve connector and the plug connector are matched to one another in terms of plug form and electrical signal transmission. An electronics component, such as a microcontroller, processes an electrical output signal for operating the solenoid valve when an electrical connection is established between the electronics component and the solenoid valve via the solenoid valve connector when the plug adapter is plugged into the plug connector.
