ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR

The present disclosure disclosed an electrical connector comprising a substrate and a housing. The substrate comprises a plugging part and a connecting part. A plurality of signal terminals and a plurality of ground terminals are disposed on at least one surface of the plugging part. A difference in length exists between an edge of each of the plurality of signal terminals away from the connecting part and an edge of each of the plurality of ground terminals away from the connecting part. The difference in length is 0.3 to 0.5 mm. The housing covers the connecting part, comprising a top cover covering a surface of the substrate comprising the plugging part.

Socket connector and connector assembly

A socket connector includes a housing defining a pair of rows of insertion cavities and an elastic fastener formed on a bottom wall of each insertion cavity. Each row of insertion cavities has at least one insertion cavity. The elastic fastener is adapted to engage a plug connector inserted into the insertion cavity.

Connection Device

A connection device electrically connects a textile to an electrical contact of a connector. The connection device is received in an insertion direction in the connector. The connection device includes a body and an attachment device. The body has a first end and a second end opposite the first end in the insertion direction. The body has a first surface extending between the first end and the second end and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The body has a portion at the first end extending essentially transversely from the first surface, the portion having an aperture into which the textile is inserted. The attachment device for the textile is connected to the second surface at the first end.

An electrical connector includes at least one base body with at least one contact portion and at least one connection portion. The connection portion is provided for fastening an electrical conductor. The base body is made of a first material, and a layer of a second material is arranged in a surface area of the contact portion. An electrical connector that ensures reliable electrical contacting even under heavy mechanical stresses is realized by applying the layer of the second material by means of roll cladding or an additive manufacturing process.

Housing for a plug comprising a display unit

A housing includes a display unit indicating a complete plugging of a counter-plug into the housing and a first stop. The display unit is movable along a longitudinal axis between an initial position and an assembly position. The display unit includes a locking element, a guide element, and a supporting element. The locking element has a resilient bridge with a first end fixed to the guide element. The first stop prevents the display unit from moving in the initial position by abutment with a free end of the bridge. The free end is bent in a bending plane in a direction of the guide element when moving toward the first stop. The supporting element supports the bridge at the guide element when the bridge deforms in the direction of the guide element and prevents a deformation of the bridge away from the abutment on the first stop.

Electrical connector with a movable detector

A connector has a detector (11) is provided in a housing (10) for movement in a front-rear direction, and can move from a standby position to a detection position when the housing (10) is connected properly to a mating housing (90). The detector (11) includes two side walls (53) arranged to face each other in a width direction with a lock arm (15) provided on the housing (10) therebetween. A detecting body (42) is assembled with the lock arm (15) between the side walls (53) and can tilt together with the lock arm (15). Couplings (59) have tilting fulcrums (66) configured to resiliently deform when the detecting body (42) is tilted. The couplings (59) extend in oblique directions intersecting the width direction from the side walls (53) to corresponding side surfaces of the detecting body (42).

Electrical connector mating port enclosed by inner sleeve and outer cover

An electrical connector includes: a connector unit having a mating part, the mating part defining a front mating end; a sleeve enclosing the mating part and extending forwardly beyond the front mating end to define a receiving chamber; and an outer cover enclosing the sleeve and the connector unit, wherein the sleeve has a front portion containing the receiving chamber, and the outer cover is made of a material softer than the sleeve.

Connector Assembly

A connector assembly includes a first connector and a second connector matable with the first connector. The first connector has a first housing and a pair of first conductive terminals disposed in the first housing each having a pair of first elastic terminals arranged symmetrically in a vertical direction. Each pair of first elastic terminals has a pair of front ends adapted to be brought into elastic and electrical contact with a pair of first wires inserted into the first connector. The second connector has a second housing and a pair of second conductive terminals disposed in the second housing each having a rear end adapted to be brought into elastic and electrical contact with a second wire inserted into the second connector. The pair of first elastic terminals each have a rear end adapted to clamp a front end of one of the second conductive terminals.

Plug connector assembly

In a plug connector assembly, a plug connector for mating with a receptacle connector, includes: a shell and a locking spring mounted on the shell and including a mating curved surface for directly locking to and unlocking from a receptacle connector.
