Seal portions at two locations communicate with each other and are integrated with each other to realize a waterproof structure. A first seal portion is provided onto an outer surface at a tip of a central cylinder inside a housing main body to realize a waterproof structure where a gap between the outer surface and a housing of a mating electrical connector is sealed in a waterproof manner. The seal portion is also connected to an inner surface of the central cylinder through a communication hole provided in the central cylinder, and a second seal portion is provided on the inner surface, integrally with the seal portion, to realize a waterproof structure where a gap between the inner surface and a terminal holder is sealed in a waterproof manner.

Connector position assurance locking mechanism and method of operating the connector position assurance locking mechanism

Connector apparatus having a male connector assembly, a female connector assembly, and a connector position assurance (CPA) device. The connector position assurance (CPA) device is inserted into one of the connector assemblies to lock the male connector assembly and female connector assembly together as an additional locking assurance.

Plug connector and plug-connector receptacle

A plug connector for electrically and mechanically connecting a pair of electrical conductors of a line comprises an insulator and a housing receiving the insulator. The insulator receives and positions a pair of end sleeves each connected to one of the electrical conductors. The housing has a plurality of plug orientations each visually and haptically denoted by a marking in a grip region of the housing.

Provided is a contact that has a reduced profile and is capable of demonstrating an excellent transmission characteristic with respect to a high frequency signal. A contact (40) according to the present disclosure is the contact (40) of a first connector (20) coupled to a second connector (70) in order to electrically couple a circuit board (CB1) and a circuit board (CB2) together, and includes: a first contact portion (45) that comes into contact with a contact (90) of the second connector (70) when the first connector (20) and the second connector (70) are coupled together; a pair of latches (42) latched to a first insulator (30) of the first connector (20); and a bend (43) that couples the pair of latches (42) together. The bend (43) is formed in a position lower than a part of the first contact portion (45) that protrudes the most toward the bend (43).

A connector including a male housing and a female housing is provided. A beak portion of the male housing has a push-back surface provided on a front side of the male housing with a top portion of the beak portion as a boundary and inclined outward gradually toward a rear side of the male housing, and a pull-in surface provided on the rear side of the male housing with the portion of the beak portion as a boundary and inclined inward gradually toward the rear side of the male housing. When the locking claw of the locking arm of the fitting assurance member reaches a boundary between the locking projection of the male housing and the lock piece of the female housing, the pressing claw of the elastic arm in the fitting assurance member is disposed on the pull-in surface side over the top portion of the beak portion.

Top-loaded electronic connection system

An input/output connector system with a cable assembly that routes signals over a circuit board to which a receptacle connector is attached. A cage housing the receptacle has a channel with an opening at one end for mounting in a panel opening. The cage has an opening in a top surface through which a plug may be inserted into the channel to mate with the receptacle. The cage may be formed with one or more keys that engage channels on the plug to constrain motion of a plug inserted through the top surface to a direction perpendicular with the circuit board until the plug is inserted sufficiently into the cage that it can slide towards the receptacle without damaging the plug or receptacle. The plug may have one or more latch components on the sides, which engage with corresponding latch components on the cage when the plug is slid into engagement with the receptacle connector.

ISOLATION METHOD FOR WATER INSOLUBLE COMPONENTS OF A BIOMASS

The process includes pretreating the biomass with a first basic solution such as sodium hydroxide and mechanically altering the fibers to provide a fluidized biomass. The fluidized biomass is then subjected to high frequency pulses and shear forces without denaturing the individual components of the biomass. The biomass is then subjected to compressive force to separate a first liquid fraction from a first fractionated biomass. The first fractionated biomass may again then be subjected to the same high frequency pulses and shear forces as previously, particularly if there are hemicellulose and/or sugars still present in the first fractionated biomass. Compressive forces are used to separate a second liquid fraction from a second fractionated biomass. The second fractionated biomass is subjected to oxidation such as with hydrogen peroxide at a pH of 8 to 12. The second fractioned biomass is then subjected to compressive forces to separate one or more water insoluble components of the biomass in water soluble form.

Disclosed is a connector assembly. The connector assembly includes a first component, a second component and a locking assembly. The first component includes an inner housing and an outer housing. The outer housing is sleeved on the inner housing. The second component is configured to engage with the first component in a snap-fit way. The outer housing is movable relative to the inner housing so that the second component is disengageable from the first component. The locking assembly includes a locking groove on one of the inner housing and the outer housing, and a locking hook on the other one of the inner housing and the outer housing, so that the outer housing is secured to the inner housing, and thereby, the first component cannot be disengaged from the second component.

OPTICAL CONNECTOR
