CONNECTOR
A connector includes: half body parts each including a connector body, and a plurality of terminals attached to the body; end parts formed on both ends of the body formed by allowing the bodies to abut each other; and reinforcing brackets attached to the respective end parts. Each of the bodies is a member integrated with the terminals by primary insert molding, and includes a protrusion extending in the longitudinal direction and holding the terminals, and an embedded part connected to both ends in the longitudinal direction of the protrusion. The end part includes a covering part covering at least the embedded part of each of the bodies, and the covering part is a member integrated with the embedded part and the bracket by secondary insert molding. The connector allows for the spacing between protrusions to be narrowed, simplifying manufacturing, reducing size, and improving reliability.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR AND LOCKING MEMBER
An electrical connector includes a plug connector and a locking member. The plug connector has a fitting portion, and an outer diameter of the fitting portion is configured to be able to be expanded. The locking member includes a pair of arm portions configured to restrict expansion of a diameter of the fitting portion by sandwiching the fitting portion from outward in a radial direction when the fitting portion fitted to a ground contact member is removed, and a positioning portion configured to curb movement of the plug connector in a Y direction in a restricted state in which the pair of arm portions restrict the expansion of the diameter of the fitting portion. In the restricted state, the positioning portion faces a first fixing portion located rearward from the fitting portion in the Y direction, and curbs movement of the first fixing portion in the Y direction.
Electrical connection box
An electrical connection box is provided. The electrical connection box includes a case having a bottom plate having a terminal connection portion, a cover having a top plate and assembled by being covered on an upper portion of the case, and a plurality of component mounting portions provided on the top plate of the cover. A component including a terminal is assembled in the component mounting portion from above the cover. The terminal of the component assembled to the component mounting portion is connected to the terminal connection portion of the case. At least one boss for maintaining a distance between the bottom plate of the case and the top plate of the cover is provided on the case or the cover. The boss is disposed in a component mounting area surrounded by an outer periphery of the plurality of component mounting portions in a plan view.
Connector having an engaged part contacting an engagement projection after a tip end projection of the engaged part faces the engagement projection
In the connector, a female beak of a female housing includes a climbing surface formed on an end part at a removing direction side, and a tip end projection that protrudes in a removing direction from an end part at an upper direction side of the climbing surface. A male beak of a male housing includes a climbed surface formed on an end part at an inserting direction side, and that comes into contact with the climbing surface in a fitting direction. After connection of a male terminal housed in the male housing with a female terminal housed in the female housing is started, a tip end projection faces the male beak in a vertical direction. After the tip end projection faces the male beak, the climbing surface comes into contact with the climbed surface.
PLUG CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A plug connector assembly includes first and second plug connector parts. The first plug connector part is arranged on a printed circuit board (PCB) and includes first contact elements. The second plug connector part includes a base body and second contact elements held by the base body. The first and second contact elements are connected when the first and second plug connector parts are connected. Stamped/bent parts are positioned on respective sides of the first plug connector part and are connected to the PCB. When the plug connector parts are fully connected, an electrical connection is established between at least one stamped/bent part and a contact element of the second plug connector part, or alternatively, an electrical connection is established between the two stamped-bent parts. The electrical connections in each case are suitable for electronically recognizing and/or monitoring the connection of the plug connector parts.
GROMMET-EQUIPPED CONNECTOR
A grommet-equipped connector includes a housing and a grommet. A panel hooking portion, a flange, and a locking projection are formed on an outer side of the housing. The grommet includes a panel close contact portion. The panel close contact portion has a waterproof lip which is brought into close contact with an edge portion of a mounting hole of a panel. A guide rib is provided at a position of the panel close contact portion facing the panel hooking portion. The guide rib is brought into contact with a wall surface of the panel before the waterproof lip is brought into contact with the wall surface at the time of assembling the housing to the panel.
Connector
A female housing includes a pair of guide rails that face a connection position assurance (CPA) member in a width direction orthogonal to an insertion direction. The CPA member includes a pair of restricting portions that are positioned below the guide rails, respectively. The pair of restricting portions restrict movement of a CPA lock portion in an upward direction by coming into contact with the pair of guide rails, respectively, in a detection member moving state in which the CPA member moves between an initial position and a fitting assurance position with respect to the female housing, and release the restriction of the movement in the upward direction by the pair of guide rails in an assurance position state in which the CPA member is positioned at the fitting assurance position with respect to the female housing.
BASE OF ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR THEREOF
A base of an electrical connector includes a fixing pin and a base body. The fixing pin includes a pin body, a stopping element and one or more latches. The pin body includes a lower end and an upper end, the stopping element is disposed at the upper end, and the latch is disposed on the pin body in a protruding manner. One or more installation troughs are formed on a rear surface of the base body and the installation trough is in communication with a front surface of the base body through an insertion hole. The base body further includes a pin hole formed on an outer peripheral surface of the base body, and the pin hole is intersected with and in communication with the installation trough. The latch is adapted to be engaged with a stopper block formed on an inner wall of the pin hole.
