HIGH VOLTAGE CONTACT SYSTEM
This disclosure provides a method and apparatus for connecting wires and interlocking wires to an electrical component. More specifically, an electrical connector that includes an insulative housing, two electrical contacts, and two interlocking contacts is disclosed. In an embodiment, each electrical contact includes a female end, a press-fit end, and a transition portion. The transition portion is designed such that the first female end and the first press-fit end may be properly aligned depending on the application. The transition portion also provides support and stability to the electrical contacts when they are disposed within the insulative housing. The insulative housing includes four contact recesses. In an embodiment, the electrical connector allows for the safe, efficient, re-usable, and reliable connection for connecting high-voltage wires to a corresponding sensitive electrical component (e.g., a printed circuit board).

ELECTRIC DEVICE
A power tool including a housing that has a battery pack receiving portion configured to receive an interface of a battery pack, device contacts extending from the housing and configured to mechanically and electrically engage with the battery pack, and a latching mechanism supported by the housing and including an actuator and a latch member configured to selectively engage the interface of the battery pack. The actuator is pivotable to operatively pivot the latch member.
Connector assembly with grounding
A connector assembly (10) is disclosed in which a connector part (12) and a cable manager part (20) are provided. The cable manager part (20) can be provided with a rear housing (40), a lacing fixture part (30), and a grounding part (50). In one aspect, the grounding part (50) provides grounding contact between an inserted cable (4) and the connector part (12). In one aspect, the grounding part (50) secures the connector part (12) to the rear housing part (40). In one example, a connector assembly (110) is provided with a grounding arrangement (150) including a plurality of deflectable grounding members (152) and provides grounding contact between the inserted cable (4) and the connector part (112). In one aspect, the grounding members (152) each provide two points of contact against the cable (4).
Connector
A connector in one aspect of the present disclosure includes a first housing and a second housing. The first housing includes a first terminal, an insertion portion, and a displacement portion. The displacement portion is provided at an outer periphery of the insertion portion and includes a moving member. The second housing includes a second terminal and a tubular portion. The tubular portion allows insertion therein of the insertion portion to a locking position while the moving member is elastically displaced to an inner position. The tubular portion also includes a locking portion that locks with the moving member to thereby inhibit pullout of the insertion portion from the tubular portion.
Adjustable cable kink protection and cables having this kink protection
The invention refers to a kink protection for prefabricated cables having first and second sleeves which fit around part of the cable or a plug connector adapted to be assembled in different relative positions. Each of the two sleeves is designed in general as a rectilinear tube section with a longitudinal axis. One end of the first sleeve has two integrally formed projections in the form of two regular octagons having the same spanner width, which are arranged on both sides of the longitudinal axis and the rotational axes of symmetry of which coincide and perpendicularly intersect the longitudinal axis. One end of the second sleeve has four elongated extensions which are distributed in a rotationally symmetrical manner about the longitudinal axis, each extending parallel to the longitudinal axis. Two mutually adjacent extensions form a spanner jaw having a jaw width corresponding to the spanner width of the octagon.

Flat wire direct coupling connector
The invention discloses a flat wire direct coupling connector for buckling a fixing device and for connecting to a flat wire, which comprises a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion. The first connecting portion can be buckled on the fixing device by a first hook of the first connecting portion, and a first aligning unit of the first connecting portion and the second aligning unit of the second connecting portion are moved in the opposite position. Thereafter, a second hook of the second connecting portion is inserted into the first opening of the first connecting portion and a third hook of the second connecting portion is inserted into a second opening of the first connecting portion for the flat wire to be inserted into the side edge of insert from at least one of a first insertion opening and a second insertion opening of the second connecting portion.
Electrical connector which accepts different seal configurations
An electrical connector having a housing with a mating face and a wire-receiving face. Terminal-receiving cavities extend from the mating face toward the wire-receiving face. A receiving cavity extends from the wire-receiving face to an end wall provided at an end of the terminal-receiving cavities. The receiving cavity has a first section provided proximate the wire-receiving face and a second section provided proximate the end wall at the end of the terminal-receiving cavities. A transition wall is provided between the first section and the second section. A rear cover member is provided proximate the wire-receiving face. The receiving cavity is configured to receive a gang sealing member in the first section or individual wire sealing members in the second section to form a seal between the housing and the respective gang sealing member or the individual wire sealing members.
Modular electrical connector assembly
A connector assembly comprises a first subassembly having a male contact and a first inner housing accommodating the male contact, a second subassembly having a female contact configured to be mated with the male contact and a second inner housing accommodating the female contact, a first connector, and a second connector matable with the first connector. The first connector has a first outer housing accommodating one of the first subassembly and the second subassembly and capable of accommodating both the first subassembly and the second subassembly. The second connector has a second outer housing accommodating the other of the first subassembly and the second subassembly and capable of accommodating both the first subassembly and the second subassembly.
