Plug connector having unlocking function

A plug connector having unlocking function is disclosed in the present invention. The plug connector includes a base, a signal transmission module, a lock head, a cover and an unlocking device. The lock head has two symmetrical edge protrusions, each of which has an upward inclined surface. The unlocking device includes a sliding member being slidably mounted on the cover and being connected with the lock head, and a pull strip being connected with the sliding member. A connection mouth of the sliding member has two downward inclined surfaces. A free end of the lock head is embedded into the connection mouth, and the upward inclined surface is pressed against the corresponding downward inclined surface. When pulling the pull strip backward, the sliding member moves backward, and the downward inclined surface can push the edge protrusion to move downward and drive the lock head to go down for unlocking.

A plug socket includes a recess receiving a charging plug in a plug-in direction and a locking element movable from a plug-in position into a blocking position. The recess terminates in an insertion opening in the plug-in direction and has an undercut acting in the plug-in direction to latch a latching element of the charging plug. The locking element in the plug-in position is located in the recess and overlaps the undercut transverse to the plug-in direction. The blocking position is spaced apart from the plug-in position in the plug-in direction and the locking element is located closer to the insertion opening in the blocking position than in the plug-in position.

CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR UNIT

A connector includes a first housing, a second housing and a fitting assuring member. The second housing includes a first locking protrusion portion having a first slope. The fitting assuring member includes a first assuring locking portion that gets over the first locking protrusion portion to be thereby locked to the first locking protrusion portion when the first housing and the second housing are fitted to each other. The first assuring locking portion begins to slide on the first slope before completion of the fitting, and stays on the first slope until the completion of the fitting.

Adjustable cable kink protection and cables having this kink protection

The invention refers to a kink protection for prefabricated cables having first and second sleeves which fit around part of the cable or of a plug connector adapted to be assembled in different relative positions. Each of the two sleeves is designed in general as a rectilinear tube section with a longitudinal axis. One end of the first sleeve has two integrally formed projections in the form of two regular octagons having the same spanner width, which are arranged on both sides of the longitudinal axis and the rotational axes of symmetry of which coincide and perpendicularly intersect the longitudinal axis. One end of the second sleeve has four elongated extensions which are distributed in a rotationally symmetrical manner about the longitudinal axis, each extending parallel to the longitudinal axis. Two mutually adjacent extensions form a spanner jaw having a jaw width corresponding to the spanner width of the octagon.

A connection detecting member (30) is mounted on a support (20) of a lock arm (15) to be integrally resiliently displaceable, and relatively movable with respect to the support (20) between an initial position and a detection position. A resilient locking piece (32) of the connection detecting member (30) restricts a movement of the connection detecting member (30) to the detection position by contacting a front stop (19) of the lock arm (15) in a state where both housings (10, 50) are not connected or are connected incompletely. The first housing (10) is provided with a movement restricting portion (23) for restricting a movement of the connection detecting member (30) toward the detection position by contact with the connection detecting member (30) when the resilient locking piece (32) is displaced in a separating direction from the front stop (19) due to curved deformation of the lock arm (15).

CONNECTOR

A connector includes a housing; and a fitting assurance member slidably attached to an outer side of the housing. The housing has a locking portion to be locked to the locked portion during a movement of the housing in a fitting direction to the counterpart housing. The fitting assurance member slides and moves relatively to the housing in the fitting direction from a temporary locking position to a formal locking position. The housing has an unlocking operation portion to apply unlocking force to the locking portion. The fitting assurance member has a pair of side walls on the outer side of the housing and a coupling portion connecting end portions of the pair of side walls. The coupling portion is located between the unlocking operation portion and the housing and separated from the unlocking operation portion.

MEMBER LOCKING STRUCTURE

A member locking structure includes: a first locking portion provided in a first member; and a second locking portion provided in a second member. The first locking portion and the second locking portion have a first locking face and a second locking face. The first locking face has a first inclined face and a first abutment portion. The second locking face has a second inclined face and a second abutment portion. The first inclined face contacts the second abutment portion and then the first abutment portion contacts the second inclined face, during a relative movement of the first member to the second member in an opposite direction to the locking direction from the locking state, to elastically deform the first locking portion in a direction opposite to lock on the second locking portion by the first inclined face and the second inclined face to release the locking state.

CONNECTOR

A connector includes a housing having a terminal receiving chamber having an opening on one or both of opposite sides in a preset direction crossing an insertion direction of a connection terminal; and a side retainer having a pair of opposed plate portions disposed in positions to sandwich the housing from the opposite sides in the preset direction. The side retainer is attached laterally to the housing and movably supported on the housing to move between a temporary locking position to temporarily lock the connection terminal and a formal locking position to formally lock the connection terminal. One or both of the opposed plate portions of the side retainer covers one or both of the opposite sides of the terminal receiving chamber when the side retainer locates at the formal locking position.

A split connector has a frame (10) fittable to a mating connector (B). A mounting portion (13) penetrates the frame (10) in a connecting direction to the mating connector (B), and lock portions (15) are formed on two facing sides of opening edge parts of the mounting portion (13). A support (16) is disposed between the lock portions (15) in an opening area of the mounting portion (13). A sub-connector (25) is to be mounted into the mounting portion (13) while holding terminal fittings (13). Two first locks (27) are formed on the sub-connector (25) and hold the sub-connector (25) in the mounting portion (13) by being locked to the lock portions (15). A second lock (29) is formed on the sub-connector (25) and is lockable to the support (16) in a direction opposite to the connecting direction to the mating connector (B).
