CABLE THROUGH PANEL FEEDTHROUGH CONNECTOR WITH RELEASE BUTTONS
20200194943 · 2020-06-18 ·

The present invention is a connector for connecting an electrical cable having cladding to an aperture in an electrical panel. The assembled connector has a spring, a shell, and a insulator along a longitudinal axis. The spring has a base from which two insertion tabs extend coaxial with the axis and the shell has two side walls to prevent over-insertion of the cladding into the connector. The insertion tabs of the spring have hook latches extending past the insulator that lock the connector in the panel, and the insulator has pressure buttons for flexing the insertion tabs during insertion and removal of the connector to the electrical panel.

PROTECTING COVER AND BOARD EDGE CONNECTOR
20200194921 · 2020-06-18 · ·

The present disclosure provides a protecting cover and a board edge connector. The protecting cover is used to a board edge connector. An insulating housing of the board edge connector comprises a board edge slot and a tower portion at least positioned at an end of the board edge slot. Two positions of the tower portion provide a guiding groove and a pair of clamping arms, the guiding groove and the pair of clamping arms are spaced apart from each other, therefore, in the mating process and the unmating process, it maintains stable path and position and provides a holding force. A side edge portion of the protecting cover comprises a stopping block. The stopping block can correspondingly stop onto an inner wall of the tower portion, prevent warpage or deflection deformation of the insulating housing.

Power cord retention device

A retention apparatus is provided for securing a cable into a receptacle of an electronic device. The retention apparatus includes a body with two distal ends. A buckle is located at one distal end while a housing is located at the opposite distal end. The buckle includes at least one tooth. The housing includes a receiver configured to secure the buckle and a handle portion. The receiver includes a securing element and guide. The securing element includes at least one notch to interconnect with the at least one tooth of the buckle.

An apparatus for emergency disconnection of a battery charge inlet of an electric vehicle may include a case; a handle mounted in the case, and rotatable by partially exposing through a groove formed at one side of the case; and an emergency disconnection cable having one side connected to the handle, and having the other side connected to an emergency disconnection lever provided in an inlet actuator mounted on the inlet for charging an electric vehicle.

PLUGGABLE OPTICAL TRANSCEIVER MODULE
20200183106 · 2020-06-11 ·

A pluggable optical transceiver module for inserting into a socket slot includes a body, a moving member and at least one elastic member. The body includes a head portion, an inserting portion to the slot, two sides, two sliding slots and at least one first limiting slot. The two sliding slots are respectively disposed on two sides. The first limiting slot is disposed in one of the sliding slots. The moving member includes a connecting arm and two extending arms and is detachably disposed on the body. Each extending arm includes a second fastening portion, a first limiting portion, and an elastic member insertion hole. When the moving member is disposed on the body, the two extending arms respectively move in the two sliding slots, and the first limiting portion moves in the first limiting slot. The elastic member is in the first limiting slot via the insertion hole.

Card edge connector assembly

A card edge connector assembly includes a card edge connector having a housing defining a card slot and holding contacts to electrically connect to a pluggable module and a host circuit board. The card edge connector assembly includes a guide cover having a main body including a first side wall between first and second end walls. The main body defines a center cavity receiving the housing and the pluggable module. The guide cover has a first alignment channel between the center cavity and the first end wall and a second alignment channel between the center cavity and the second end wall. The alignment channels are configured to receive alignment posts of the pluggable module prior to the card slot receiving the pluggable module.

Method for securing a terminal within a connector housing of a connector assembly and a connector assembly formed by said method

A method of securing an electrical terminal within a terminal cavity of a connector body is described herein. The method includes the step of deforming a portion of an outer surface of the connector body to fabricate a protrusion that projects from an inner surface of the connector body into the terminal cavity, thereby securing the electrical terminal within the terminal cavity. A connector assembly formed by this method is also described.
