Plug electrical connector
A plug electrical connector including an insulator, a pair of side-latches, a terminal set, and a shielding shell is provided. The pair of side-latches and a plurality of terminals of the terminal set are arranged along a first axis, and each of them extends along a second axis. The pair of side-latches and the terminal set are respectively disposed in the insulator, and the pair of side-latches are located on two sides of the terminal set. The shielding shell covers the insulator along the second axis. The side-latch includes at least one protrusion exposed out of the insulator along a third axis and structurally leaning against the shielding shell, such that the shielding shell is electrically connected with the pair of side-latches. The first axis, the second axis, and the third axis are orthogonal to each other.
Connector position assurance locking mechanism and method of operating the connector position assurance locking mechanism
Connector apparatus having a male connector assembly, a female connector assembly, and a connector position assurance (CPA) device. The connector position assurance (CPA) device is inserted into one of the connector assemblies to lock the male connector assembly and female connector assembly together as an additional locking assurance.
Simplified connector receptacle housings
Structures, methods, and apparatus that provide connector receptacles that have a reduced tendency to scratch and otherwise mar connector inserts, have an aesthetically-pleasing appearance, and have an improved tactile response when inserts are inserted. Various examples reduce scratches and wear by utilizing domes, cylinders, balls, or other structures as finger contacts in a connector receptacle. Another example provides aesthetically-pleasing connector receptacle enclosures by forming receptacle enclosures using the same type of material, or material having the same or similar color or texture, as is used for enclosing the electronic device that includes the receptacle. Another example provides an aesthetically-pleasing receptacle enclosure by forming receptacle enclosures that are, in part or in whole, contiguous or formed with the housing. Another embodiment provides a connector receptacle having a housing where a portion of the housing has been removed to save space.
Electrical plug connector
An electrical plug connector includes an insulated housing, contact terminals held in the insulated housing, an outer shell covering the insulated housing, and hook members. First buckle structures are at side arms at two sides of the insulated housing. Each of the hook members includes a second buckle structure mating with the corresponding first buckle structure. The buckle structures are of crescent shapes and mated with each other. When the press portion of the hook member is pressed by an excessive force, the first/second buckle structure stops the second/first buckle structure to prevent the elastic arm of the hook member from deforming. When the elastic arm is bounced back excessively, the first/second buckle structure stops the second/first buckle structure to prevent the hook member from detaching off the side arm.
Magnetic fasteners providing an electrical connection
An electrically conductive magnetic snap fastener for releasably coupling a first material to a second material, the fastener including a male fastening element affixable to the first material, the male fastening element including an integrally formed stud and stud flange and a female fastening element affixable to the second material, the female fastening assembly including a cover, a backplate, and a magnet disposed within a cavity defined by the cover. The male fastening element and the female fastening element being magnetically couplable to each other such that the male fastening element contacts the female fastening element to form a conductive electrical path through the male fastening element and the female fastening element when the male fastening element and the female fastening element are magnetically coupled to each other.

CONNECTOR
A connector includes a first housing, a second housing, and a fitting assurance member attached to the second housing and movable relative to the second housing in a state in which the first housing and the second housing are fitted to each other. The first housing includes a lock protrusion, and a first inclined surface and a second inclined surface. The first inclined surface and the second inclined surface are provided on opposite sides. The second housing includes a lock arm to lock the lock protrusion in the fitted state. The fitting assurance member includes a first repulsive arm to generate repulsive force when the first repulsive arm is elastically deformed by the first inclined surface during a fitting operation. The second housing includes a second repulsive arm to generate repulsive force when the second repulsive arm is elastically deformed by the second inclined surface during the fitting operation.
BOARD-TO-BOARD CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY FOR ADD-IN CARDS
A board-to-board connector assembly includes a connector interposer between first and second connectors each having a connector housing holding contacts and having a card slot for interfacing with a circuit card edge of a corresponding add-in card. The connector housings have board guides configured to engage the add-in cards and guide mating therewith. The connectors have latches configured to latchably engage the add-in cards to secure the connector to the add-in cards. The connector interposer electrically interconnects the first contacts and the second contacts.
Electronic cigarette
The present disclosure relates to an electronic cigarette. The electronic cigarette includes a shell with a suction end, a battery box, an atomizer assembly connected to the battery box, and a guiding component configured for guiding the atomizer assembly. The atomizer assembly slides relative to the battery box via the guiding component to achieve a fixed connection with the battery box.
Connector for a diesel engine glow plug
A connector for connecting an electrical conductor to a glow plug of a diesel engine comprises an electrical receptacle terminal, a housing capable of receiving a terminal portion of the glow plug, and a bushing slidably mounted around the housing by engagement of a longitudinal guide rib disposed on an outer surface of the housing in a longitudinal guide groove disposed on an inner surface of the bushing. The housing has a substantially cylindrical tubular body containing the electrical receptacle terminal with an end opening defined by a pair of elastically deformable axial arms capable of engaging the terminal portion. The bushing is movable with respect to the housing from a pre-locking position to a locking position only when the housing is in a correctly mounted position on the terminal portion.
