Electrical connector and method for assembling an electrical connector
The invention relates to an electrical connector (2) comprising a coding housing (4) for electrical and mechanical connection to a compatible connector (3) and comprising a plug body (6) for electrical and mechanical connection to an electrical assembly (5, 14, 15, 16), wherein the compatible connector (3) can be connected to the coding housing (4) along an insertion direction (A), and wherein the coding housing (4) and the plug body (6) have a mechanical connecting device (8). It is provided that the connecting device (8) is designed in order to connect the coding housing (4) and the plug body (6) to one another in an interlocking manner in the insertion direction (A), wherein the connecting device (8) prespecifies an assembly movement (B), which differs from the insertion direction (A), in order to connect the coding housing (4) and the plug body (6) to one another.
SIM card release mechanism with SMA actuator
A mechanism for releasing a SIM card locked into an electronic device by a spring-loaded mechanical restraint (4, 5) includes a SIM card holder comprising a rectangular frame (1), a SMA wire actuator (10) mounted on said frame (1) so as to deform it upon activation in order to release said mechanical restraint (4, 5), and springs (8) for the ejection of the SIM card holder upon release of the mechanical restraint.
Power cord retention device
A retention apparatus is provided for securing a cable into a receptacle of an electronic device. The retention apparatus includes a body with two distal ends. A buckle is located at one distal end while a housing is located at the opposite distal end. The buckle includes at least one tooth. The housing includes a receiver configured to secure the buckle and a handle portion. The receiver includes a securing element and guide. The securing element includes at least one notch to interconnect with the at least one tooth of the buckle.
Electrical plug connection
An electrical plug connection having a plug connector and an associated counterpart mating plug connector. The plug connector can be plugged together in a plug direction with the mating plug connector for producing an electrical plug connection. The plug connector has a first locking mechanism and the mating plug connector has a second locking mechanism. The plug connector is fixable on the mating plug connector by a positive connection of the first locking mechanism with the second locking mechanism, and in an unlocking operation, this fixation can be disengaged by manual actuation of an unlocking element movably mounted on the plug connector or on the mating plug connector, in that the unlocking element mechanically acts on the first and/or the second locking mechanism when operated manually.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A configuration ensuring a connector to be fixed to a connector housing with high water-tightness, free of damaging or breaking due to external force, and achieving high shielding performance and reliability is provided. The connector includes a terminal that is conductive, an intermediate insulating member that contains the terminal, and an outer conductor that is conductive and contains the intermediate insulating member. The connector housing includes an outer conductor holding part provided with an outer conductor insertion hole through which the outer conductor is inserted and a front outer conductor containing cavity that is formed on a front side of the outer conductor holding part and has a larger cross-sectional area than the outer conductor insertion hole. The connector is fixed to the connector housing with a tab welded to a front surface of the outer conductor holding part, the tab being integrally formed with the outer conductor, and with a potting material filled in a portion in the front outer conductor containing cavity close to the front surface of the outer conductor holding part.
CONNECTOR SYSTEM FOR LIGHTING ASSEMBLY
A linear LED lamp having a body with a length between spaced first and second ends. The linear LED lamp has an elongate heat sink and a light source comprising LED emitters and a first end cap assembly at the first end of the body. The first end cap assembly has conductive power and ground pins and a support connector has conductive power and ground terminals for connecting with an external power supply and providing a grounding path for components of the lamp. The power and ground pins of the first end cap assembly are configured to engage the power and ground terminals of the support connector as an incident of the first end cap assembly moving relative to the support connector in a path that is transverse to the length of the body into an engaged position. A sleeve connector is also provided for mounting a non-power end of a linear LED lamp to a light fixture.
NARROW WIDTH ADAPTERS AND CONNECTORS WITH PULL TAB RELEASE
Narrow width fiber optic connectors having spring loaded remote release mechanisms to facilitate access and usage of the connectors in high density arrays. A narrow width fiber optic connector comprises a multi-fiber connector, wherein a width of said narrow width fiber optic connector is less than about 5.25 mm, a housing configured to hold the multi-fiber connector and further comprising a connector recess, and a pull tab having a ramp area configured to disengage a latch of one of an adapter and an SFP from said connector recess. The pull tab may include a spring configured to allow the latch of one of the adapter and the SFP to engage with the connector recess.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLIES AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Connector assemblies including a first subassembly having a recessed portion and a pair of locator tracks and a second subassembly having a pair of locator projections, vacuum assemblies including these connector assemblies, and methods of using the same are provided herein.
CHARGING INLET WITH THERMAL SENSOR
A charging inlet includes a power terminal, a holder member, and a thermal sensor. The power terminal is configured to releasably engage a mating contact of an external power source. The holder member is proximate to the power terminal, and has an electrically insulative material. The holder member defines at least a portion of a pocket that is fully enclosed. The thermal sensor is disposed within the pocket for monitoring a temperature of the power terminal.
