HOLDING FRAME FOR A HEAVY PLUG-TYPE CONNECTOR
A holding frame for a heavy plug-type connector can receive identical and/or different plug-type connector modules. The holding frame comprises a main body which has two side parts which lie opposite one another, and at least one fixing clip which is held at least on a side part, and by way of which the plug-type connector modules can be fixed within the main body. The at least one fixing clip has at least one holding arm which moves parallel to the plane of the side parts during the introduction of a plug-type connector module into the holding frame. As a result, plug-type connector modules can be introduced into the holding frame particularly simply and even in the installed state of said holding frame. At the same time, the holding frame variant which is shown here is more stable than the previously known holding frames which have the same functionality.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR AND CONNECTION
An electrical connector may be provided for connection to a mating electrical contact in an insertion direction. The connector has an inner casing in which an electrical bushing contact having a locking element, which can be moved parallel to the insertion direction for setting a contact force, can be fixed to the mating contact, which can be inserted into the bushing contact. At least one axial end of the locking element may protrude laterally out of the inner casing. The connector also has an outer casing in which the inner casing can be accommodated. A locking element fixing means, which can be fixed on the outer casing in a stationary manner against movement parallel to the insertion direction and also engages in the axial end of the locking element, is also provided, allowing a movement of the inner casing relative to the outer casing parallel to the insertion direction.
FLAT ANGULAR CONNECTOR WITH LATCH MECHANISM
A flat connector with a latch mechanism having two latch handle portions provided at opposite sides of the connector where the latch handle portions can be moved from an engagement position to a release position. The connector is an angular cable connector and for both handle portions, the direction of the path from the engagement position to the release position is towards the cable end of the connector. The latch handle portions are elastically biased towards their engagement position. The path from the engagement position to the release position is linear. The path from the engagement position to the release position is towards the cable end of the connector and extends in the plane of the handle portion.
Contact Element, Plug With A Contact Element And contact Arrangement For Contacting A Bipolar Stack
A contact element for contacting a bipolar plate of a fuel cell stack includes a contact body extending along a longitudinal axis. The contact body has a channel extending along the longitudinal axis and delimited by a pair of channel walls disposed opposite one another in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis. The channel is adapted to receive a portion of the bipolar plate. The contact body has a contact spring on a first channel wall of the pair of channel walls. The contact spring protrudes into the channel and has a cutting edge directed toward a second channel wall of the pair of channels walls and adapted to contact the bipolar plate.
CONNECTING LIGHTING TO POLES WITHOUT TOOLS
A street light has a pole of at least 6 feet in length, and has an electrical socket attached to an end of the pole. The socket includes a body having an interior, and a cover positioned on the body to cover the interior of the body. The cover has a ring-shaped openings providing passage into the interior of the body. Resiliently mounted electrical contactors are each positioned in the interior of the body and adjacent to one of the ring-shaped openings in the cover. A central bore extends through the body, and a ledge is positioned at the end of the bore to extend radially outward. The socket is connectable to a mating plug to mechanically and electrically connect a street light or other device to the pole. The street light can include sensors that are connectable using a similar socket and plug.
CARD BRACKET AND TERMINAL
A card bracket and a terminal are provided. The card bracket is capable of accommodating a data card and is capable of being inserted into a housing of the terminal. The card bracket includes a card tray and a card cover. The card tray is configured to accommodate the data card. The card cover is coupled to the card tray and is rotatable relative to the card tray. The card cover includes a first end and a second end opposite each other, and further includes a first protrusion extending towards the card tray. When the card bracket is in a state of being inserted into the housing and a push force is applied to the first end, the card cover is rotatable about the first protrusion, so that the first end further extends into the housing while the second end extends out of the housing.
QUICK CONNECT/DISCONNECT COAXIAL CABLE CONNECTOR
A quick connect and release mechanism is provided for a coaxial cable connector comprising a first connector body having an annular cavity accessible by a tubular opening. A conical retention ring is disposed in the annular cavity and engaging at least one radial step form along a rearwardly facing surface of the annular cavity and, furthermore, being configured to engage a retention surface of a second connector body upon insertion of a tubular sleeve thereof. Furthermore, a retention ring engager is disposed over a portion of the first connector body and has a sleeve portion extending into the tubular opening to urge the retention ring from engagement with the at least one radial step while also disengaging the retention surface of the second connector. As a consequence, the second connector is released from the first connector.
AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRICAL PLUG CONNECTOR AND AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRICAL RECEPTACLE CONNECTOR
An automotive electrical plug connector and an automotive electrical receptacle connector mating with the automotive electrical plug connector are provided. The automotive electrical plug connector includes an insulated housing electrical plug connector includes an insulated housing, plug terminals, terminal fixing plates, and a positioning member. Upper and lower surfaces of the insulated housing has buckling grooves for positioning the terminal fixing plates, so that the front ends of the terminal fixing plates are abutted against the plug terminals, and the plug terminals can be prevented from detaching off terminal grooves of the insulated housing. Moreover, when the positioning member is assembled in an engaging groove at the side surface of the insulated housing, the positioning member is moved from a movable position to a locked position, and the automotive electrical plug connector and the automotive electrical receptacle connector can be locked with each other.
PLUG CONNECTOR HAVING UNLOCKING FUNCTION
A plug connector having unlocking function is disclosed in the present invention. The plug connector includes a base, a signal transmission module, a lock head, a cover and an unlocking device. The lock head has two symmetrical edge protrusions, each of which has an upward inclined surface. The unlocking device includes a sliding member being slidably mounted on the cover and being connected with the lock head, and a pull strip being connected with the sliding member. A connection mouth of the sliding member has two downward inclined surfaces. A free end of the lock head is embedded into the connection mouth, and the upward inclined surface is pressed against the corresponding downward inclined surface. When pulling the pull strip backward, the sliding member moves backward, and the downward inclined surface can push the edge protrusion to move downward and drive the lock head to go down for unlocking.
Card edge connector and assembly thereof
A card edge connector includes an insulative housing and a number of terminals retained in the insulative housing. The insulative housing defines a slot going through a front surface thereof to receive an electrical card. Each terminal includes a contacting portion extending into the slot and a tail extending out of the insulating housing. The insulative housing has a retaining wall above the slot. The card edge connector further includes a nut retained in the retaining wall, and cooperating with an external retaining member to fix the heat dissipation module to the insulative housing. The card edge connector can be adapted to expand the module of the existing electrical card to meet diverse needs of customers.
