VISUAL CONNECTOR LOCKING SYSTEM
An electrical connector assembly for an automotive subassembly having an enclosure is described. The electrical connector assembly includes a female electrical connector mounted to the enclosure and having a tight space between a wall of the female electrical connector and an adjacent inside surface of the enclosure. A male electrical connector has a spring-action lock that locks the male electrical connector by way of a single locking tab that pops out to project through a slot in the wall of the female electrical connector when the male electrical connector is fully inserted into the female electrical connector. A color of the wall of the female electrical connector is a dark color and a color of the locking tab is a bright color such that a secure connection between the male electrical connector and the female electrical connector is indicated by appearance of the projected locking tab within the tight space.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
Plural contacts include other ends on which first substrate connections that are connected to the signal electrodes of a substrate are formed. A shell includes an upper plate that covers the whole of the plural contacts on the substrate. Side plates block both ends of the first substrate connections in an array direction (x-axis direction) between the upper plate and the substrate and include edges which face the substrate and on which second substrate connections connected to the ground electrode of the substrate are formed. A back plate blocks the fronts of the first substrate connections with respect to contactors between the upper plate and the substrate and includes an edge which faces the substrate and on which third substrate connections connected to the ground electrode of the substrate are formed.
Plug-in module and smartboard
A plug-in module (100), has a first side face (110), a first elastic strip (10) and a first pull tab (20) provided at a same end of the first side face; the first elastic strip has an elongated shape, and is provided with at least one first limiting lug (11) on a first surface of the first elastic strip opposite to the first side face, an end of the first elastic strip located in close proximity to the first pull tab is referred to as an opposite end, another end of the first elastic strip is referred to as the distal end, and the distal end and the first side face are affixed together. The opposite end is provided with an elastic strip retraction head (12), and the elastic strip retraction head is provided in correspondence with the first pull tab. Further provided is a smartboard. The plug-in module can be conveniently plugged in and unplugged, simplifying user operations and improving user experience.
Connector including shell having lock mechanism and connector device
It is intended to enhance elastic force of an arm and reduce a plate material necessary for forming the arm to effectively use a resource. Provided is a connector fittable to a partner connector, the connector including an insulating housing, a contact, and a conductive shell. The shell includes at least a metal shell formed from a single metal plate. The metal shell includes a cover portion configured to cover at least part of a side portion outer peripheral surface of the housing, an elastic arm having a free end on the side of fitting to the partner connector, and a support portion coupled to a lateral side of the elastic arm to elastically connect the cover portion and the elastic arm and configured to support the elastic arm in a cantilever manner. The cover portion and the elastic arm have substantially opposing surfaces. The elastic arm has a lock portion configured to lock fitting between the connector and the partner connector at a position closer to a free end side than the support portion.
Securing module
A securing module includes a positioning member, a fixing member, a wire management member, and a cover. The positioning member is disposed on a case. The fixing member is passed through the positioning member and fixed to the case. The wire management member is disposed on the fixing member. The cover is assembled to the case. The cover includes at least one hook, a clamping component, and a hollow shell. The at least one hook and the clamping component are disposed on the hollow shell. The hollow shell covers the positioning member, the fixing member, and the wire management member. The clamping component is selectively moved between a fixing position and a releasing position. When the at least one hook is snap-fit to the case and the clamping component is located at the fixing position, the clamping component clamps the positioning member so that the hollow shell is fixed to the case.
Narrow width adapters and connectors with pull tab release
Narrow width fiber optic connectors having spring loaded remote release mechanisms to facilitate access and usage of the connectors in high density arrays. A narrow width fiber optic connector comprises a multi-fiber connector, wherein a width of said narrow width fiber optic connector is less than about 5.25 mm, a housing configured to hold the multi-fiber connector and further comprising a connector recess, and a pull tab having a ramp area configured to disengage a latch of one of an adapter and an SFP from said connector recess. The pull tab may include a spring configured to allow the latch of one of the adapter and the SFP to engage with the connector recess.
Receiver device for accepting narrow width connectors
Various embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a Network system including: a connector comprising a housing comprising a groove running widthwise on a surface of the housing; and a push-pull tab comprising a complementary groove, wherein the push-pull tab is detachably connected to the housing; and a receiver device comprising one or more ports for receiving the connector, the one or more ports having an interchangeable anchor device including a first portion and a second portion; wherein the groove is configured to receive the first portion of the interchangeable anchor device when the connector is inserted into the receiving element, and wherein the complimentary groove is configured to receive the second portion of the interchangeable anchor device when the connector is inserted into the receiving element, the push-pull tab being configured to disengage the second portion of the interchangeable anchor device from the complementary groove when the push-pull tab is moved in a direction away from the connector, thereby disengaging the first portion of the interchangeable anchor device from the grove of the connector. Other aspects are described and claimed.
BIASING COVERS WITH CLIPS
In some examples, the disclosure describes a connector comprising a cover comprising a cover top, a first clip coupled to a first end of the cover, the first clip including a first lever and a first hook, a second clip coupled to a second end of the cover, the second clip including a second lever and a second hook, and a biasing member coupled to the cover top and disposed between the first clip and the second clip, the biasing member to apply pressure to the connector while the connector is disposed between the biasing member and the first hook and the second hook.
