Quick connect assembly for ceiling fan
A quick connect mounting assembly for a ceiling fan. The quick connect mounting assembly includes two releasably attachable plates that are easily interconnected to mechanically couple elements of a ceiling fan. The quick connect mounting assembly can be used to mount a ceiling fan switch housing to a ceiling fan motor assembly.
Quick connect device with transverse release
A known quick connect electrical connector has plug which has a spindle through which a rod is passed. Metal balls are contained within the spindle and can be pushed radially outwardly by a widened portion of the rod to lock the spindle to a passage in a corresponding socket. To separate the plug and socket, the rod must be pushed to move the widened portion away from the balls. To accomplish this, a cam follower is attached to the rod. Slide supports are attached to the plug. A lever slides within the slide supports and has a cam surface which pushes the cam follower when the lever is slid within the slide supports. When the cam follower is pushed, it moves the rod to enable the metal balls to move radially inwards to release the plug from the socket.
Plug housing and plug connector
A housing main body of a plug housing includes an inserted part inserted in a receptacle housing and an exposed part exposed outside the receptacle housing, in a state where the plug housing is fitted to the receptacle housing. The exposed part includes a hook part formed at an end of the exposed part in an intersecting axis intersecting with an insertion direction of inserting the inserted part in the receptacle housing, the hook part being configured to hook a finger thereon, and a contact part contactable with another plug housing between the hook part and the inserted part when the other plug housing is disposed adjacent to the plug housing in the intersecting axis.
Electrical connector having holding member with a reinforcing tab and a resilient arm
An electrical connector includes: an insulative housing having an island and a receiving channel; plural contacts secured to the insulative housing and exposed to the receiving channel; and a pair of holding members secured to two opposite ends of the insulative housing and exposed to the receiving channel, each holding member having a first part and a second and third parts at two opposite ends of the first part, wherein the second part of each holding member has a bottom plate, a reinforcing tab extending upwardly from the bottom plate, and a resilient arm extending upwardly from the bottom plate and located proximal to associated third part than the reinforcing tab.
Plug connector and connector set having same, and method for removing connector set
A plug connector includes a housing and multiple plug terminals. The housing has at least a base portion housing the multiple plug terminals, and a lock mechanism, and a pair of side portions each provided on both right and left sides of the base portion. At each of the side portions in a pair, a step portion is formed. In a state in which the plug connector is fitted in the receptacle connector, side surfaces of the step portions face the receptacle connector through a clearance, and front surfaces of the side portions are closer to the receptacle connector than the side surfaces of the step portions are to the receptacle connector.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR SYSTEM
An electrical connector, in particular for signal and/or power transmission, preferably for charging electric vehicles or of accumulators of electrical vehicles, has a coupling housing for connection to a corresponding second electrical connector. A locking clip on the coupling housing can be moved from an open position to a closed position. The locking clip has a recess into which a locking element of the second connector can be inserted in the open position of the locking clip, and in the closed position of the locking clip, the locking element is arranged in the recess such that the coupling housing is form-fit and/or force-fit connected to the second connector. A latching apparatus with at least one latching element engages in a latching receptacle of the locking clip in the closed position. An electrically movable locking element is arranged which inhibits movement of the latching element in a locking position.
Monolithic antenna integrated radio frequency connector
An integrated connector-antenna assembly is provided, wherein an antenna is monolithically integrated with a radio frequency (RF) connector housing. The connector-antenna assembly may also include the RF signal element, wherein the connector center pin is monolithically integrated to the connector housing. Although part of the connector-antenna assembly, the connector housing and connector signal element still serve the connector function, which is essentially a channel for RF signal from the RF signal source to the antenna.
High Density Orthogonal Card Edge Connector
A connector system having a first connector and a second connector. The first connector is mounted to a substrate and includes a housing and a first shell. The first shell has solder hold down posts which extend from a circuit board mounting surface of the first connector. Securing openings are provided in side walls of the first shell. The second connector includes a daughterboard and a second shell. The second shell has side plates, resilient latching projections are formed from mating connector alignment portions positioned on the side plates proximate a connector receiving surface of the second connector. The resilient latching projections of the second connector cooperate with the securing openings of the first connector to secure the second connector to the first connector. The first connector is secured to the substrate by soldering the solder hold down posts to the substrate.
TAMPER RESISTANT CONNECTOR SECURITY SLEEVE SYSTEM WITH TOOL-LESS TIGHTENING AND CONFIGURED TO USE A TOOL FOR LOOSENING
A security sleeve system for a cable connector, includes: a first portion that may engage a tightening portion of a cable connector; and a second portion that may engage the first portion. The first portion may be configured to engage the tightening portion such that rotation of the first portion in a tightening direction causes the tightening portion to rotate; the first portion and the second portion may be configured to receive a tool that impedes rotation of the second portion relative to the first portion to cause the tightening portion to rotate in a loosening direction; the second portion may be configured to rotate relative to the first portion when the tool is not received in the first portion; and the first portion and the second portion may be configured to provide tool-less tightening of the cable connector to a mating part but are configured to use a tool to loosen the cable connector from the mating part.
