Pogo pin connector

Various connector and sensor assemblies are described. In some embodiments, the connector and sensor assembly comprises a connector and a sensor assembly. The connector can have an opening that has a first surface and second surface that are opposite each other. The connector can have a plurality of retractable electrical connectors that extend from the first surface and a lock structure that is located on the second surface. The sensor assembly is comprised of a body portion and a proximal end. The proximal end has a top side and a bottom side. The top side includes a plurality of electrical contacts that is configured to interact with the plurality of retractable electrical connectors. The bottom side includes a key structure that is configured to interact with the lock structure in the connector.

There is provided a connector including: a sacrificial pressing surface that is provided in a second housing and is a flat surface formed at an end portion on a side opposite in an insertion direction of the second housing. When an external force acts on the second housing in a temporarily assembled state in which the second housing is more shallowly fitted to a first housing than in a fully assembled state and a locking portion is not locked to a locked portion, the sacrificial pressing surface is configured to cause a pressing force to act in a direction in which a contact area of the locked portion with respect to the locking portion is larger than that in a case in which the second housing is pressed in the insertion direction.

CONNECTOR WITH LATCHING MECHANISM

A connector includes a latching mechanism configured to mechanically unlatch the connector and a mating connector. The latching mechanism of the connector, when actuated to unlatch the connector and the mating connector, disengages both a retention feature of the connector and a retention feature of the mating connector.

REVERSIBLE CABLE ASSEMBLY CONNECTOR

Connectors or connector assemblies include first and second latching members attached to a housing thereof for latching the connector to a mating connector are provided. When the connector mates with the mating connector in a first/second mating orientation, the first/second latching member, but not the second/first latching member latches the connector to the mating connector.

CHARGING ASSEMBLY WITH OVERRIDE MEMBER ON LOCKING DEVICE

A charging assembly includes a charging inlet and a locking device mounted to the charging inlet. The locking device includes a housing, a release member, and an override member. The release member is connected to a movable locking pin via a mechanical linkage. The locking pin in an extended position is configured to secure a mating connector of an external power source to the charging inlet. The override member is slidably mounted to the housing, and includes a tail that is coupled to the release member. The override member has a contact surface configured to be engaged by an external instrument to translate the override member relative to the housing such that the tail actuates the release member causing the locking pin to transition from the extended position towards a retracted position to enable the mating connector to be disconnected from the charging inlet.

DRIVE LOADING JIG FOR MEMORY DRIVES

A drive loading jig, drive carrier assembly and method of using the same to insert and remove a drive from a host reduce the likelihood of a drive being damaged during insertion or removal. Such a drive loading jig has side walls with respective slots and a rear wall joining the side walls. Each of the slots includes multiple restraining walls to restrain a drive, when positioned in the jig, from bending with respect to a plane parallel to a major surface of the drive and from moving in a direction substantially perpendicular to the major surface. Stoppers formed in the side walls or rear wall define a maximum insertion depth of the drive. An alignment key-way on the loading jig is used to align the drive in the proper orientation prior to inserting the drive into the loading jig.

Terminal

A terminal for electrically connecting at least one conductor comprises an insulating material housing, a contact body with a contact frame and a contact spring, and an operating element. The operating element has a bearing region for rotatably mounting the operating element in the insulating material housing about a rotation axis, and at least one operating structure, which is at a radial distance from the bearing region and extends in the direction of the rotation axis, for moving the clamping limb between the conductor clamping position and the conductor release position in the event of a rotational movement of the operating element about its rotation axis. The insulating material housing has a supporting region which axially extends between the rotation axis and the operating structure to support the operating structure on the supporting region at least in the conductor release position.

Busbar trunking system

A section of a busbar trunking system, referred to herein as a BTS section, comprising: a plurality of conducting bars; and a female electrical connector at a first end of the BTS section; wherein the female electrical connector is arranged to receive a male electrical connector of an adjacent BTS section to electrically connect the conducting bars of the BTS section to conducting bars of the adjacent BTS section as part of a plug-and-play connection.

Plug and method of attaching a vibration protection to a plug

A plug comprises a plug housing, an electrically conductive plug contact disposed in the plug housing, a contact body cooperating with the plug contact, and a slider displaceably guided in a sliding guide formed on the plug housing. The slider has a ramp surface cooperating with the contact body such that the contact body is pushed against the plug contact when the slider is slid into the plug housing.
