COAXIAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY WITH ALIGNMENT MEMBER
An alignment device for use in an electrical connector or electrical connector assembly having coaxial terminals. The alignment device includes a planar plate portion having a first wall and an oppositely facing second wall. A plurality of coaxial terminal receiving openings extend through the plate portion. The coaxial terminal receiving openings are configured to receive mating ends of the coaxial terminals. Alignment members extend from the second wall of the plate portion in a direction away from the first wall, the alignment members are positioned proximate the coaxial terminal receiving openings.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY HAVING A DEVICE FOR DUAL POSITION CONFIRMATION
A connector assembly has a device for dual position confirmation and is able to not only accurately show whether female and male connectors have been completely fastened to each other at an appropriate position by a lever using the device for dual position confirmation, but to show the fastened state and position of the lever.
RECEPTACLE MODULE AND RECEPTACLE CAGE FOR A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A communication system includes a plug module and a receptacle module received in a receptacle cage. The receptacle module includes a receptacle housing having a cavity that receives a contact assembly. The receptacle module includes a receptacle latch coupled to the receptacle housing having latching features at sidewalls of the receptacle housing and receptacle release tabs operably coupled to a receptacle release actuator.
PLUG CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
The present invention provides a plug connector engaged with a socket. The plug connector includes an insulating body and a metal limiter. The insulating body has a mating port and a space for accommodating a circuit board, and the mating port is connected with the space. The metal limiter includes a metal bottom plate and a pair of metal side structures. The metal bottom plate is arranged under the opening of the mating port. The pair of metal side structures are respectively connected to the two sides of the metal bottom plate and arranged on the left and right sides of the opening to form a limiting space. When the plug connector is matched with the socket, the metal shell of the socket is sheathed with the front end of the insulating body, and the metal shell is located in the limiting space to restrict the plug connector from shaking.
CONNECTOR LOCKING ASSEMBLY FOR IMPLANTABLE PULSE GENERATOR
An implantable pulse generator includes a housing component containing electrical circuitry for generating electrical pulses and a header component connected to the housing component. The header component is adapted to connect to one or more stimulation leads for applying the electrical pulses to the tissue of the patient. The header includes a locking member for an electrical terminal of the implantable pulse generator. The locking member includes a head, an elongate body portion adjacent the head and has a proximal section with a first diameter and a distal section having a second diameter. A transition section is between the proximal section and the distal section. The transition section smoothly transitions from the first diameter to the second diameter. The elongate body portion is configured to provide an interference fit to the electrical terminal in a locked position and hold the electrical terminal in place.
Connector assembly with grounding
A connector assembly (10) is disclosed in which a connector part (12) and a cable manager part (20) are provided. The cable manager part (20) can be provided with a rear housing (40), a lacing fixture part (30), and a grounding part (50). In one aspect, the grounding part (50) provides grounding contact between an inserted cable (4) and the connector part (12). In one aspect, the grounding part (50) secures the connector part (12) to the rear housing part (40). In one example, a connector assembly (110) is provided with a grounding arrangement (150) including a plurality of deflectable grounding members (152) and provides grounding contact between the inserted cable (4) and the connector part (112). In one aspect, the grounding members (152) each provide two points of contact against the cable (4).
QUICK CONNECT DEVICE WITH TRANSVERSE RELEASE
A known quick connect electrical connector has plug which has a spindle through which a rod is passed. Metal balls are contained within the spindle and can be pushed radially outwardly by a widened portion of the rod to lock the spindle to a passage in a corresponding socket. To separate the plug and socket, the rod must be pushed to move the widened portion away from the balls. To accomplish this, a cam follower is attached to the rod. Slide supports are attached to the plug. A lever slides within the slide supports and has a cam surface which pushes the cam follower when the lever is slid within the slide supports. When the cam follower is pushed, it moves the rod to enable the metal balls to move radially inwards to release the plug from the socket.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR FOR A BUS BAR
An electrical connector for connecting a bus bar to a flexible conductor comprising a tubular conducting body having a first end adapted for lockably receiving an end of the flexible conductor and an opposite second end adapted for mounting a corresponding end of the bus bar therewith. The electrical connector is also provided with at least one resilient element operatively mounted with the second end of the tubular body and the corresponding end of the bus bar for maintaining the bus bar and the tubular body connected together.
