The plug body has an insert cavity and adjacent spring openings, each of the spring openings aligning with a respective one of the shields. A cable head has an insert module telescopically slid into the insert cavity. The cable head includes an electrically conductive fixation element that is fixed to the insert module and fixed to a cable. The fixation element includes integral spring elements that extend generally radially outwardly from the insert module and are each configured to extend through respective spring openings into contact with respective shields.

The releasable fastening arrangement (300) is arranged to provide a mechanical connection of the first unit (100) to a second unit (200), and an electrical connection of a first electrical circuit (120) included in the first unit (100) to a second electrical circuit (220) included in the second unit (200), when a male profile (115) of the first member (110) is inserted into a corresponding female profile (215) included in a second member (210) of the second unit (200). The mechanical connection is provided based one or more at least partially resilient latching arm members (117) of the male profile (115) engaging with one or more corresponding slots (217) of the corresponding female profile (215). The electrical connection is provided by contact between one or more first flexible conductors (124) arranged on a first flexible and electrically insulating layer (126) of the first electrical circuit (120) and one or more second flexible conductors (224) arranged on a second flexible and electrically insulating layer (226) of the second electrical circuit (220).

CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

A connector assembly comprises a first connector and a second connector. The first connector comprises a first housing provided with a stopper. The second connector comprises a second housing, a mating detecting member and a shift mechanism. The second housing is mateable with the first housing along a front-rear direction. The mating detecting member has an abutment portion. The abutment portion is movable in a direction intersecting with the front-rear direction by an operation of the shift mechanism. When the second housing is mated with the first housing under a state where the mating detecting member is positioned at a regulating position, the abutment portion abuts against the stopper, and the mating detecting member is moved from the regulating position toward an allowable position. The mating detecting member is positioned at the allowable position when a mating of the second housing with the first housing is completed.

The lower shell is disposed with multiple second engaging structures separately corresponding to the first engaging structures and connected with the upper shell to form a chamber for receiving the connector and form a wiring hole for being passed by the wires. The wires are extended from the insert portion toward the wiring hole to form a bend section and a curve section in the chamber. The wire binding block is fixed on the curve section of the wires and clamped by the upper shell and the lower shell through engagement of the first engaging structures and the second engaging structures.
