CONNECTOR AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTION DEVICE
A connector includes an insulative housing and a circuit board. The insulative housing comprises a housing body, an insertion plate, two side walls and a stopping wall. The housing body has a front end surface, the insertion plate is positioned at a top side of the housing body and protrudes from the front end surface, the two side walls are respectively positioned at a left side and a right side of the housing body and protrudes from the front end surface. The housing body, the insertion plate and the two side walls together form a receiving space. The stopping wall is positioned at a side of the insulating housing opposite to the insertion plate and has a stopping end positioned in front of the front end surface. The circuit board is provided to the housing body and partially protrudes into the receiving space. The stopping end of the stopping wall is stopped by the mating connector, it can prevent the user from improperly inserting the connector in an upside down orientation into the mating connector.
Charging cable and charging station for electric cars
A charging cable for an electric car includes an insulating body, a connecting line, and a plug-type connector with contact pins and contact openings. The plug-type connector detachably connects the insulating body to the connecting line via the contact pins and contact openings. Also described is a corresponding charging station.
WEARABLE AUDIO DEVICE WITH MODULAR COMPONENT ATTACHMENT
Various aspects include wearable audio devices enabling modular component attachment and detachment. In certain implementations, a wearable audio device includes: a headband for contacting a head of a user; an earpiece coupled with the headband for positioning proximate an ear of the user, the earpiece having an electro-acoustic transducer configured to output audio signals; and a slot configured to engage an electronic component, where the slot includes one or more snap-fit and/or friction-fit connectors for selectively engaging the electronic component.

Drive loading jig for memory drives
A drive loading jig, drive carrier assembly and method of using the same to insert and remove a drive from a host reduce the likelihood of a drive being damaged during insertion or removal. Such a drive loading jig has side walls with respective slots and a rear wall joining the side walls. Each of the slots includes multiple restraining walls to restrain a drive, when positioned in the jig, from bending with respect to a plane parallel to a major surface of the drive and from moving in a direction substantially perpendicular to the major surface. Stoppers formed in the side walls or rear wall define a maximum insertion depth of the drive. An alignment key-way on the loading jig is used to align the drive in the proper orientation prior to inserting the drive into the loading jig.
Connector system and electrical circuit for connector position assurance member
A connector position assurance (CPA) member for assuring the engagement of a first connector housing with a second connector housing. The CPA member includes terminals which can conduct electricity through a conductor in the second connector housing when the CPA member is at a full-lock position, due to a closed electrical circuit. The terminals of the CPA member cannot conduct electricity through the conductor in the second connector housing when the CPA member is at a pre-lock position due to an open electrical circuit.
HIGH-SPEED CONNECTOR WITH STRAIN RELIEF
A cable connector includes a cable including a center conductor, a first housing, and an overmold attached to the cable and the first housing. The cable connector can include a second housing and the overmold can be attached to the second housing. Alternatively, a cable connector system includes a cable connector including a first latch, and a board connector including a second latch and a shield, wherein the shield is staked to a substrate, and a body of the cable connector includes an outer wall that extends over the shield when the cable connector is mated to the board connector.
LEAD MODULE, ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR, AND CONNECTOR COMPONENT
This application provides a lead module. The lead module includes a plurality of lead pairs and two shielding pieces, and the two shielding pieces each are made of a conductive material and are located parallel to each other on two sides of the plurality of lead pairs. Therefore, a ground wire or a shielding element may no longer be disposed between the two shielding pieces in the lead module of this application and between parts that are of adjacent lead pairs and that correspond to a body part of a lead, and the lead module uses the two shielding pieces as the ground wire and the shielding element. Therefore, crosstalk between the lead pairs for signal transmission is effectively reduced with a simple structure. This application further provides an electrical connector including the lead module and a connector component including the electrical connector.
