Two-wire plug and receptacle
A plug includes a body portion as well as first and second electrical strip contacts. The body portion has a length, an upper surface and a lower surface. The first electrical strip contact is proximate the upper surface of the body portion and has a length substantially equal to or less than the length of the body portion. The second electrical strip contact is proximate the lower surface of the body portion and has a length substantially equal to or less than the length of the body portion.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes: half body parts each including a connector body, and a plurality of terminals attached to the body; end parts formed on both ends of the body formed by allowing the bodies to abut each other; and reinforcing brackets attached to the respective end parts. Each of the bodies is a member integrated with the terminals by primary insert molding, and includes a protrusion extending in the longitudinal direction and holding the terminals, and an embedded part connected to both ends in the longitudinal direction of the protrusion. The end part includes a covering part covering at least the embedded part of each of the bodies, and the covering part is a member integrated with the embedded part and the bracket by secondary insert molding. The connector allows for the spacing between protrusions to be narrowed, simplifying manufacturing, reducing size, and improving reliability.

BOARD END CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A board end connector and a connector assembly. The board end connector comprises a board end insulating body, a terminal module, and a housing. The board end insulating body comprises a board end plugging surface and a plugging slot. The plugging slot is disposed on the board end plugging surface and comprises two interference sidewalls which are oppositely disposed. The terminal module is disposed in the board end insulating body. The housing is disposed on one side of the board end insulating body. A plugging bump member is provided on one side of the housing. The plugging bump member is disposed in the plugging slot. An interfering bump is provided on at least one side of the plugging bump member. The interfering bump interferes with at least one of the two interference sidewalls to increase the holding force between the housing and the board end insulating body.
Device based lock via electrical socket
An electronically lockable, electrical plug configured to communicate power and data signals to mobile electronic devices (MED) includes a male electrical plug body insertable into a female electrical socket of the MED and plurality of electrical contacts defined in the male electrical plug for communicating the power and data signals to and from the MED, via corresponding electrical contacts associated with an MED electrical socket. The MED electrical socket is shaped and sized to physically receive and support therein said male electrical plug body. Plug locking elements are formed in the male plug body are so formed as to be lockable to or with corresponding, complementary socket locking elements of the MED, so that upon insertion of the male plug body into the MED socket the electrical plug is locked with the MED An associated, electronically operable locking mechanism is operable to mechanically disengage the plug locking elements from the socket locking elements to thereby enable the electrical plug to be released from the MED and an electrical cable is coupled to the male plug body for electrically conducting the signals.
Sealed electrical connector
A sealed electrical connector assembly includes a first and second connector member. The first connector member is arrangeable in open and sealed positions. In the sealed position, the first connector member is mated and sealed to the second connector member. The first and second connector member sealing walls face each other in a sealing region. The first and second connector members includes first and second connector member sealing walls extending essentially the same direction. In the sealed position, a flexible sealing element is configured to be arranged between and contacting the first and second connector member sealing walls in the sealing region. The flexible sealing element is fixed with respect to one of the sealing walls and is releasably engageable with another one of the sealing walls for providing a watertight seal. The sealing wall is slanted with respect to the first direction along an entire sealing region.
Connector
A housing of a connector has an end face in a perpendicular direction perpendicular to an up-down direction. A side portion of a guide member is apart from the end face of the housing. The end face of the housing, the side portion of the guide member and supporting portions of the guide member form a receiving portion which guides and receives a protruding block of a mating connector. When the connector is mounted on a substrate, the side portion and the supporting portions are apart from the substrate. Outside the end face of the housing in the perpendicular direction and under the side portion and the supporting portions in the up-down direction, a lower space is formed to communicate with the receiving portion. The guide members 16 is not located in the lower spaces 20 at all.
Electrical connector and connector assembly
The present disclosure provides an electrical connector and a connector assembly. The electrical connector comprises a first sleeve, a first cover, and a sealing member. The first sleeve comprises a first mating opening and a first connecting end surface. The first connecting end surface is disposed at the periphery of the first mating opening. The first cover is disposed in the first sleeve. The first cover comprises a first mating surface exposed from the first mating opening. The sealing member is disposed on a side surface of the first cover and surrounds the first cover. The sealing member is disposed between the first sleeve and the first cover. The sealing member comprises a sealing sheet extending from the first mating surface in a direction close to the first connecting end surface of the first sleeve.
Male plug and female receptacle of connector and docking structure thereof
A male plug and a female receptacle and a docking structure thereof include a male plug and a female receptacle docked with each other. When the male plug and the female receptacle docked with each other, the male plug is fitted with the female receptacle using a horizontal holding force provided by a first fastening structure, and is fitted with the female receptacle using a vertical holding force provided by a second fastening structure, hence further reinforcing plugging stability between the male plug and the female receptacle by the horizontal and vertical holding forces.
