A connector includes a housing and a connector position assurance device positioned in a temporary caught position on the housing when the connector is not mated with a mating connector. The connector position assurance device is allowed to slide to a caught position in front of the temporary caught position in a mating direction when the connector is completely mated with the mating connector. The connector position assurance device assures that the connectors are completely mated in the caught position. The connector position assurance device has a pressed-back portion abutted by the mating connector during mating and pressed back relative to the housing if the connector position assurance device is positioned in the caught position when the connector starts to mate with the mating connector, positioning the connector position assurance device in the temporary caught position at a complete mating of the connector with the mating connector.

Linear locking electrical connectors

An electrical connector apparatus, including: a first connector coupled to a first end of an electrical wire, the first connector including a locking hook; a second connector coupled to a second end of the electrical wire, the second connector including a first bumper; and a locking device configured to keep the first connector and the second connector coupled together and to keep the first end and the second end of the wire connected, the locking device including a ring and an arm, wherein the ring is configured to insert over the second connector until the ring is flush with the first bumper of the second connector, and the arm hooks onto the locking hook of the first connector when the ring is flush with the first bumper of the second connector.

Connection arrangement for tubular members

A connection arrangement for tubular members may include a latch arrangement having a latch hook attached to a first tubular member and a striker arrangement attached to a second tubular member. The striker arrangement may include a transverse member extending transverse to the length of the second tubular member. The transverse member may be positioned proximate to the latch hook when an end of the first tubular member is positioned adjacent to an end of the second tubular member such that rotation of the latch hook engages the transverse member and effects a clamping force between the first tubular member and the second tubular member in a direction transverse to the rotational axis of the latch hook.

Sealed electrical connector having a male blade stabilizer with a seal retention feature

A sealed connector assembly includes a female connector having an inner wall, an outer wall substantially parallel to the inner wall, and a resilient seal circumferentially extending from the inner wall and a male connector having a shroud extending parallel to the mating axis and a male blade stabilizer (MBS) moveable from a pre-staged position to a fully staged position and back to the pre-staged position. The MBS is configured to move from the pre-staged position to the fully staged position as the shroud is received between the outer wall and the resilient seal, thereby disposing the MBS between the inner and outer walls and retaining the resilient seal in an intended location. The MBS remains engaged to female connector until the shroud is withdrawn from between the outer wall and the resilient seal, thereby retaining the resilient seal in the intended location as the male connector is unmated.

MODULAR ELECTRONIC DEVICE SYSTEM

A modular electronic device system includes an electronic device and a cover for the device that allows the device to be mechanically and electrically mounted to a stand or device adapter on the rear side of the cover. The cover or device adapter can be connectable to modularly attachable and removable accessory devices and can provide electrical ports for powering and operating the accessory devices. While mounted to a stand, power and data communications can be provided to the electronic device, cover, and accessory devices from the stand or an external source. The modular components of the system can be interchangeable to allow the system to be adapted to many different settings and use cases based on the types of components included as the accessory devices and based on the number of accessory devices used.

SUPPORT BASE FOR FURNITURE ACCESSORIES

A support base includes a connector hub having a top end, a bottom end spaced apart from the top end, and a chamber wall extending between the top and bottom ends. The chamber wall defines a chamber within the connector hub. An interface may be positioned in the chamber. The interface is dimensioned such that a support gap is formed between the interface and the chamber wall. The support gap may be dimensioned for receiving a wall of a support structure having a hollow interior into which the interface is received.

SERIALLY-CONNECTABLE DEVICE FOR ELECTRICAL CABLE

A serially-connectable device includes a plug, an electrical cable, and a joining sleeve. The plug includes an insert portion and apertures are arranged in parallel to each other and formed through the insert portion. The electrical cable includes metal wires, such as wires of a light string. Ends of the wires respectively run through the apertures, and are folded back onto a surface of the insert portion to form exposed wire portions servicing as terminal pins. The joining sleeve includes two insert holes. Electrical conductors are disposed within the joining sleeve. Each electrical conductor extends from one of the two insert holes to the other insert hole. The insert portion is inserted into one of the two insert holes, to have the pins respectively contact the electrical conductors. Through the combination of the joining sleeve and the plug, two electrical cables can be quickly connected in a serial manner.
