Pluggable connector with anti-electromagnetic interference capability
A pluggable connector with anti-electromagnetic interference capability is disclosed in this invention, which includes a socket housing, multiple terminal assemblies and a shielding case. The socket housing includes an insulating base, a first anti-EMI block independently mounted on the insulating base and a second anti-EMI block independently mounted on the insulating base. The first anti-EMI block and an upper bracket can be combined together to form an upper circuit board slot, and the second anti-EMI block and a lower bracket can be combined together to form a lower circuit board slot. The pluggable connector of the present invention has a good anti-electromagnetic interference capability by the first and second anti-EMI blocks.

Interposers having three housings interconnected to each other
Connecting structures to mechanically connect to a connector receptacle tongue and a printed circuit board and to electrically connect contacts on the connector receptacle tongue to traces on the printed circuit board. One example may provide an interposer having a housing and a plurality of contacts to connect a vertical tongue to a horizontal printed circuit board. The contacts may have a side or tongue connecting portion extending beyond a side of the housing and a bottom or board contacting portion extending beyond a bottom of the housing. The contacts may form a ninety-degree bend. A shield may at least substantially surround a vertical side of the housing.

CONNECTOR
A connector includes inner conductors and an outer conductor. The outer conductor includes four plate portions surrounding outer peripheral surfaces of the inner conductors, a rear plate portion for closing a rear surface of the outer conductor and an opening provided behind the bottom plate portion and in front of the rear plate portion. The inner conductor includes a board connecting portion projecting outwardly of the outer conductor through the opening. The outer conductor includes a common base end portion connected to a rear end of the bottom plate portion via a bent portion and projecting toward the same side as the board connecting portion, and a plurality of branched pieces projecting from a projecting end of the common base end portion while being arranged in a width direction of the common base end portion.
WATERPROOF ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR HAVING AN INSULATIVE SHELL INSERT-MOLDED WITH A METAL SHELL
An electrical connector includes: an insulative housing having a base portion and a tongue portion extending forwardly from the base portion; a number of terminals retained in the insulative housing; a shielding shell attached to the insulative housing to form a receiving space; a metal shell for mounting on a printed circuit board, the metal shell being affixed to the shielding shell; and an insulative shell insert-molded with the metal shell and enclosing the shielding shell.

Mating contacts for high speed electrical connectors
An electrical interconnection system with high speed, high density electrical connectors. One of the connectors includes a mating contact portion that has multiple contact surface. The mating contact portion has multiple segments, each with a contact surface, such that multiple points of contact to a complementary mating contact portion in a mating connector are provided for mechanical robustness. Such a mating contact may have parallel elongated members on which the mating surface are positioned, providing for the possibility of more than two contact surface per mating contact portion. The mating contact surfaces may be positioned on the elongated members such that the points of contact are at different distances from the distal end of the mating contact portion.
