20210234317 · 2021-07-29 · ·

An electrical connector for a multi-wire electrical cable includes two cable-side electrical contact elements including associated terminals to each of which is to be connected a wire of the electrical cable, and two output-side electrical contact elements which are spaced apart from the cable-side electrical contact elements and from each of which projects an electrical connector element via which an electrical connection can be established to a mating connector. An active electrical device is disposed between the cable-side contact elements and the output-side contact elements. The active electrical device is placed on the contact elements, such that the active electrical device is in electrical contact with each of the contact elements, and such that the cable-side contact elements and the output-side contact elements are electrically connected to each other. The output-side contact elements are separated and axially spaced apart from the cable-side contact elements.

Embodiments discussed herein refer to connectors that enable two structures or devices to be coupled together in a manner that enables consistent and reliable operation of contactless communications and power transfer. The connector integrates power and alignment such that when two connectors are coupled together the power connections are also responsible for connector alignment. The connector alignment ensures that contactless communication channels, spanning between the connectors, are aligned to enable consistent and reliable operation of contactless communications.

An electronic component unit includes: a circuit board to mount an electronic component on the circuit board; a connector to receive and retain a terminal to be electrically connected to the circuit board; and a cover assembled to the connector and housing the circuit board. The circuit board is retained with the cover by using a beard retaining portion integrated with or separate from the cover. The connector has a cover retaining portion including a pair of protrusion portions. The cover retaining portion retains the cover assembled to the connector by holding a part of the cover between the pair of the protrusion portions.

CONNECTOR FOR HIGH-FREQUENCY TRANSMISSIONS IN THE AUTOMOTIVE FIELD, IMPEDANCE IMPROVING ELEMENT, CONNECTION ASSEMBLY, METHOD OF IMPROVING THE IMPEDANCE IN A CONNECTOR

A connector including a contact element arranged in an interior of the connector and contacting an electrical connection element and an impedance improving element located at a side of the electrical connection element. The impedance improving element has a reception channel through which the contact element extends and a deformation section adapted to be deformed at least one of radially and axially.

Cable connection element for reducing signal transmission loss

A cable connection element for reducing signal transmission loss includes a front clad, a base and a connection terminal. The connection terminal has a first core-holding portion formed on a front end thereof, a second core-holding portion formed on a rear end thereof, a core-clamping portion formed between the first and second core-holding portions, and a pin formed on a rear end of the second core-holding portion. The second core-holding portion is fixed inside the base. The front clad is connected with the base to enclose the first core-holding portion therein. When a core of a cable penetrates the front clad, the core is held by the core-clamping portion and is electrically connected therewith, such that signals from the core can be transmitted to the pin through the core-clamping portion and the second core-holding portion. Accordingly, signal transmission loss arising from capacitance effect can be improved.

One of more panels of the cabinet include at least one conductive region that is optionally covered by an insulative covering. These conductive regions are coupled to an external power source. Shelves, drawers, other cabinet components, electrical devices in a cabinet (including, but not limited to, a motor, lights, outlet, appliance, sensor, processor, etc.), and the like can further conduct or receive electrical energy by electrically coupling to the conductive regions within the panels of the cabinet, for example, through shelf pins that are inserted into holes in the panels.
