Electrical mating systems
An electrical mating system can include a first connector having a plurality of first contacts, and a second connector having a plurality of second contacts. Each one of the first contacts can pair with one of the second contacts so that they provide electrical conduction between pairs of contacts when the first connector is properly mated to the second connector. At least one of the first contacts or first connector and/or one of the second contacts and the second connector can be sized and configured such that an open circuit occurs across a specific one of the pairs of contacts when the first connector is improperly mated to the second connector.
Charge port illumination system and illumination method
A charge port illumination system includes, among other things, a first charge port assembly having a charge port, a courtesy lamp assembly configured to selectively activate to illuminate the charge port, and indicators each configured to selectively activate to illuminate and indicate a state of charge of a traction battery. The system further includes a microcontroller that selectively activates the courtesy lamp assembly and selectively activates the plurality of indicators of the first charge port assembly.
Relocatable power tap having integrated current monitor
A medical electrical equipment power tap has multiple sockets and a power cord with a maximum current rating. The power tap includes a display to indicate information related to an instantaneous current draw of the power tap. The power tap also includes an electrical circuit which determines whether the instantaneous current draw exceeds a predetermined maximum allowed current which is less than the maximum current rating. The display provides a visual indication when the power tap's current draw exceeds the maximum allowed value, signifying that at least one item of medical electrical equipment should be unplugged from the power tap. The electrical circuit includes a current loop which passes through a structural portion of the power tap's housing for independently gauging the instantaneous current draw using a clamp probe.
Power receptacle
A power receptacle includes an upper cover, a middle cover, and a base assembly. The middle cover includes an interface group, the interface group including at least one first-type interface, and at least one second-type interface and/or at least one third-type interface. The upper cover includes a matching interface group, the matching interface group including matching interfaces that match at least some of the corresponding interfaces of the interface group. The upper cover and the middle cover are removably attached to each other. Because the base assembly does not need to be changed while the upper cover may be changed based on the user's need, the power receptacle has enhanced applicability, saves cost and can meet user's different needs. Because the upper cover can be changed by the user without requiring a skilled worker, the power receptacle is easy to use.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR HAVING FUSE HOLDER
The industrial electrical connector is composed of an upper housing portion for holding a conductor and a lower housing portion for holding at least one contact carrier, which lower housing portion can be releasably connected to the upper housing portion. The contact carrier holds at least one contact. The contact is intended to establish a connection to a corresponding mating contact for the transfer of at least electrical energy and/or electrical signals/data. At least one fuse holder for holding at least one electrical fuse is arranged within the industrial electrical connector.
Active receptacle cover
A cover for an electrical receptacle including a faceplate. The cover also includes a first transmission tab configured to be electrically connected to a first power line of the electrical receptacle and a second transmission tab configured to be electrically connected to a second power line of the electrical receptacle. Additionally, the cover includes a device (such as a light source, circuit, port, or sensor) in communication with the first transmission tab and the second transmission tab.

Optical traceable patch cord
An optically traceable patch cord includes a cable extending from a first connector at a first end to a second connector at a second end. A trace assembly in the cable is located between the first end of the cable and the second end of the cable. An optical tracing fiber extends from the trace assembly to one of the first connector and the second connector.
