Compensating connector system

A compensating receptacle connector and for terminating a cable assembly of a cabling category and comprising a plug mating zone, a cable mating zone and an intermediate zone. Each of the zones is such that Near End Cross Talk (NEXT) resulting from transmission of the high frequency signal across each zone is below a specified amount chosen such that NEXT introduced by a high frequency signal transmission between via all the zones is below a level as specified for the cabling category.

POKE-IN WIRE CONNECTOR FOR POWER CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

A poke-in terminal includes a main body, a tab terminal socket at a mating end, and a wire socket at a terminating end. The tab terminal socket includes walls forming a tab terminal receptacle configured to receive a tab terminal. Upper and lower beam contacts extend into the tab terminal receptacle to interface with the tab terminal. The wire socket includes walls forming a wire receptacle configured to receive a wire. Poke-in retention beams extend into the wire receptacle to interface with the wire when poked into the wire socket. The wire socket includes a wire release element configured to be actuated to release the poke-in retention beams from the wire.

An electric signal adapting device includes at least one first adapting interface and at least one first adaptor. The at least one first adapting interface comprises a magnetic component and a magnetic sensing component. The first adaptor is placed in correspondence with the first adapting interface. The first adaptor is electrically connected to each of the corresponding at least one first adapting interface for transferring the DC electric signal and connecting the DC electric signal to an external device. The magnetic component is configured to attract the at least one first adaptor. The magnetic sensing component is configured to determine whether the at least one first adaptor is correctly placed. When the magnetic sensing component determines that the at least one first adaptor is correctly placed, the at least one first adapting interface transfers the DC electric signal to the at least one first adaptor.

A compact electrical power connector including a cable with cores surrounded by cable insulation. Each core includes a wire surrounded by core insulation. Removed cable insulation exposes each core and removed core insulation exposes each wire. Each wire is reverse crimped to a corresponding terminal placed within a cable holder that supports and routes each core. The assembled cable holder is inserted into a housing including housing terminal slots corresponding to each terminal. An inner mold is injected around the exposed end of the cable holder, any exposed core and a first portion of the terminal end of the cable. An over mold with integrated flange is injected around the exposed surfaces of the housing, the inner mold and a second portion of the terminal end of the cable adjacent the first portion.

Field Terminable Single Pair Ethernet Connector with Angled Contacts

A communications connector has a shielded jack body and a wire cap. The shielded jack body has a single pair of plug interface contacts having a first thickness and a single pair of insulation displacement having a second smaller thickness. The plug interface contacts are configured to electrically connect to the insulation displacement contacts. The wire cap is configured to terminate a pair of conductors to the pair of insulation displacement contacts by being secured to the sheilded jack body in a direction perpendicular to a direction of an insertion of an associated connector.
