POWER PLUG WITH LEAKAGE CURRENT DETECTION INTERRUPTER AND ARC PROTECTION
A power plug with leakage current detection and protection interrupter and arc protection includes: a shell, a trip assembly disposed within the shell, a cable connector electrically coupled to the trip assembly, and an arc protection shield disposed between the trip assembly and the shell. The trip assembly includes a switch having input and output contact terminals. The arc protection shield is configured to isolate the input and output contact terminals of the switch from the shell. The arc protection shield includes one or more arc blocking baffles, each disposed near corresponding input and output contact terminals, so as to isolate the contact terminals from the shell. By providing the arc protection shield between the input and output contact terminals and the shell, the shell is protected from arcs formed at the input and output contact terminals due to connection and disconnection operations. This prevents damage to the shell and improves user experience and safety.
POWER OUTLET WITH RETENTION AND SHOCK PROTECTION
An apparatus includes an electrical plug insertable into a power outlet of a receptacle, where the electrical plug includes a ground pin with an indent. The apparatus further includes a retention mechanism enclosed by the receptacle includes a rod configured to interact with the indent of the ground pin, where the rod seated within the indent of the ground pin prevents a removal of the electrical plug from the power outlet.
Cable connector for high speed in interconnects
A cable termination that provides low signal distortion even at high frequencies. Conductive elements of the cable are fused to edges of signal conductors in a cable connector or other component terminating the cable. For terminating a differential pair, the conductive elements of the cable may be terminated to opposing edges of a pair of signal conductors in the cable termination. The conductive elements may be shaped such that the spacing between signal paths passing through the conductive elements of the cable and into the signal conductors of the cable termination is uniform.

Electric connector and locking method
The present disclosure provides an electric connector, which is used for being electrically connected with another adaptive connector (socket). The electric connector comprises a first shell, a lock plate, a second shell and an actuating assembly, wherein at least one electric connection point capable of being connected with the other connector is accommodated in the first shell; the lock plate is relatively fixed with the first shell; the second shell is at least partially located on the outer side of the lock plate and can move between a first position and a second position, the part of the second shell deforms the lock plate towards the inner side, so that the lock plate is tightly pressed with the outer surface of an outer shell of the other connector for frictional locking. According to the electric connector, the locking and pressing frictional force between the electric connectors can be improved.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY FOR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE AND SYSTEM AND METHOD INCLUDING SAME
A connector assembly includes an electrical plug connectable to an electrical outlet, an inner collar, and an outer collar disposed radially outward from the inner collar. The inner collar includes a plurality of jaws disposed circumferentially about the electrical plug. Each jaw of the plurality of jaws includes threads defined along an outer surface of each jaw. The outer collar includes at least one thread defined along an inner surface of the outer collar. Rotation of the outer collar relative to the inner collar causes the at least one outer collar thread to rotatably engage the inner collar threads and the plurality of jaws to deflect inward such that the plurality of jaws engages and compresses the electrical outlet when the electrical outlet is connected to the electrical plug.
THERMAL PROTECTION PLUG
A thermal protection plug, provides a temperature sensor I, which is directly contact with the neutral wire terminal, so as the heat transferring from neutral wire terminal to the temperature sensor keeps prompt and improve the response delay to cut-off the power switch. And because the negative pole of DC is collinear with the neutral wire terminal, it means that the temperature sensor I can use a low voltage isolation sensor and it is safer even though the breakdown between the shell and the pins of the temperature sensor I.
Functional indoor electrical wall outlet cover
An indoor electrical wall outlet cover permitting functional use of an electrical wall outlet while concealing the plug contact openings of the outlet. The cover has a functional electrical plug that inserts into the wall outlet and is connected to an extended electrical cord having at its distal end a direct connection to a small appliance, lamp, or electronic device for indirect use of the wall outlet. In one embodiment, the cover is essentially featureless in outward appearance, and when positioned over the wall outlet, the cover fully hides the wall outlet from view. The functional electrical plug has electrical connection pins that are bent at a angle enabling the cover to function without extending any significant degree outward of the wall outlet, so that furniture or the connected appliance, lamp, or device may be positioned effectively flush against the wall in front of the covered wall outlet.
Electrical connector with integrated sealing mechanism
An electrical connector can include a receptacle disposed in a housing. The housing can include a second end and an openable first end having at least two housing portions that are movable relative to each other between: an open position in which the receptacle is accessible by a plug through the housing portions; and a closed position in which the receptacle is not accessible by the plug through the housing portions. At least one of the housing portions can be biased toward the open position. The electrical connector can further include a grip coupled to the housing and movable relative to the housing between a first position that permits movement of the housing portions to the open position; and a second position in which the grip overlies the at least one biased-open housing portion such that the grip prevents movement of the housing portions to the open position.
Electrical arc protection using a trip jumper
A plug comprises power contacts and a trip jumper having jumper contacts configured to make a trip connection, during a plugging action with the plug and a receptacle, with mating trip contacts in the receptacle. When the receptacle is connected to electrical power during the plugging action, a current over the trip connection can cause disconnection of a receptacle power contact from the power. A receptacle comprises receptacle power contacts and a trip circuit having receptacle trip contacts configured to make a trip connection, during a plugging action with the receptacle and plug, with mating trip contacts in the plug. When the receptacle is connected to electrical power during the plugging action, a current over the trip connection can cause disconnection of power to a receptacle power contact. A system can have an electrical device with a line cord connected to the plug.
