ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR WITH SLEEVE
An assembly comprises a connector and a sleeve. The connector includes a resilient locking member movable between an outwardly disposed locked position and an inwardly disposed unlocked position. The resilient locking member includes a button portion and a locking projection. A sleeve includes an aperture capable of engaging with the button portion of the resilient locking member. The sleeve is capable of sliding along the body of the connector and pushing down the button portion to unlock the resilient locking member so as to disengage the connector from its receptacle. The assembly further comprises a pair of stoppers provided on the sleeve and a pair of grooves provided on the connector. The pair of stoppers is engagable with the corresponding pair of grooves so that the connector is pulled out from the receptacle when a user continues to pull the sleeve backward after unlocking the resilient locking member.

Method of manufacture insulating electrical plugs
Electrical plugs having single and double insulation as well as the method for manufacturing the double insulating electrical plugs are disclosed. The single insulated electrical plugs have internal walls which electrically isolate the electrical connectors. The single insulated electrical plug has a one-piece body with a central base which accepts the electrical connectors, as well as two covers hingably coupled to the base to secure the connectors in place. The double insulated electrical plugs are insulated by both an inner body as well as the overmold material. The inner body has vents which enable overmold material to be injected into the inner portions of the inner body as well as onto the outside of the inner body. During the manufacturing process, molten material flows over the outside of the inner body, and also flows into the interior of the inner body to provide two layers of electrical insulation.

COMMON PLUG FOR AC/DC AND COMMON EQUIPMENT FOR AC/DC
[Object] To provide a common plug for AC/DC which can easily prevent erroneous insertion into a plug receptacle.
[Solution] Provided is a common plug for AC/DC including at least one pair of connection terminals. At least one connection terminal of the at least one pair of connection terminals is able to rotate around an axis of an insertion direction into a socket so as to have a first state in a case where the connection terminal is inserted into a socket for supplying AC power and a second state in a case where the connection terminal is inserted into a socket for supplying DC power, the second state being different from the first state.
Modular domestic appliance with electrically conductive members
The invention is an apparatus comprising an electrically powered appliance with electrically conductive members mounted to the appliance that both support and supply electrical power to the appliance. The electrically conductive members comprise insulative housings with openings that fit over connectors attached to a wall. Both the housings and the connectors comprise electrical conductors. When the connectors are fitted inside the housings, the electrical conductors mate to provide electrical power to the appliance. Furthermore, the appliance is suspended from a wall to which the connectors are mounted. The appliance can be modular or have particular dimensions that allow it to function within an automated storage and retrieval system. Finally, the appliance may be fitted with an outlet to accommodate a detachable power cord.
POWERED WALL PLATE SYSTEM FOR AN ELECTRICAL OUTLET
Systems and devices are disclosed for a powered wall plate for an electrical outlet. The system includes a wall plate and a cable. The wall plate includes a conductor having a first end to engage a socket of the outlet. The wall plate is attached to the outlet and covers two or more sockets of the outlet. The cable includes a first cable end and a second cable end. The first cable end includes a connector to engage a second end of the conductor of the within the wall plate. The second cable end includes an additional electrical outlet. In some embodiments, the powered wall plate system includes a base plate, and the base plate includes a cavity therein. The wall plate is disposed within the cavity and attached to the electrical outlet. An exterior cover plate is positioned over the wall plate and on the base plate.
Plug connector insertable in two orientations and having a metallic shield plate with arms with hook structures
A plug connector includes an insulative housing with mating slot, contacts disposed in the housing by two sides of the mating slot, and a pair of side arms located by two opposite ends of the mating slot in a horizontal transverse direction. a receptacle connector includes an insulative housing defining a horizontal mating tongue; contacts disposed in the housing with contacting sections exposed upon two opposite surfaces of the mating tongue; and a monolithic horizontal metallic shielding plate disposed and extending substantially fully the mating tongue. The shielding plate defines side protruding edge sections exposed outside of corresponding side edges of the mating tongue and a notch structure on each side protruding edge section, the pair of side arms each defines a hook structure to engagement with the notch structure.
