POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
A power distribution system includes a track having a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a longitudinal axis extending through the first and second ends. The track defines a channel extending along the longitudinal axis. A plurality of power cables is positioned within the channel. The power distribution system further includes an electrical hub having a body coupled to the second end of the track. A plurality of wafers is supported by the body and stacked on top of each other to define a set of terminals. The set of terminals is electrically connected to the plurality of power cables. A power receptacle is supported by the body and electrically connected to the plurality of wafers.
Pluggable power distribution units for modular edge power systems
A modular edge power system is provided. The modular edge power system includes a housing having a rack adapted to mount compute devices and a direct current power bus within the housing. Multiple power distribution units are adapted to be removably coupled to the direct current power bus at a position within the housing and outside of the rack. Each power distribution unit is configured to distribute electrical power received from the direct current power bus to one or more compute devices mounted in the rack. Each power distribution unit may convert the electrical power from a first power level to a second power level.
POWER PANELS INCLUDING CONDUCTIVE CLIP ASSEMBLIES AND BUS STACK ARRANGEMENTS INCORPORATING SAFETY FEATURES
A power panel of an electrical distribution system including a bus stack with a plurality of conductive bars spaced from one another and a plurality of insulators, an electrical accessory is coupled to the plurality of bus bars, and each insulator includes a main body and a safety feature that extends from the main body. The safety features from adjacent insulators extend towards one another to define a gap sized to prevent insertion of a foreign object therein. The gap is further sized to permit insertion there through of a conductive component to establish an electrical connection between multiple bus bars and the electrical accessory.
Electrical device comprising an insulating film
The object of the invention is an electrical device comprising: a housing comprising a cavity receiving an electronic component, and at least one first electrical conductor connected to the electronic component so as to supply it with electric power, said electrical device being characterised in that it comprises a first electrically insulating film being against a surface of the first conductor so as to electrically insulate it, said first insulating film having at least one holding member enabling the first insulating film to be attached to a mechanical element, in particular of the electrical device.
SPLICE CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A splice connector assembly includes a housing and a flat bus plate. The housing has openings on opposed end walls defining an axis being generally perpendicular to the opposed end walls. The flat bus plate is disposed within the housing, including a connecting strip extending generally perpendicular to the axis, a first set of male terminals extending outwardly from the connecting strip generally parallel to the axis, and a second set of male terminals extending outward from the connecting strip generally parallel to the axis and in an opposite direction from the first set of male terminals, wherein a free end of each of the male terminals are configured to receive and electrically connect with female flat terminals, and wherein the female flat terminals extend into the housing to connect to the male terminals through the openings on the opposed end walls.
High voltage bus connection insulator
An insulator for a bus connector arrangement including a first layer defining at least one first aperture, a first annular protrusion emanating from the first layer at one first aperture, a second layer defining at least one second aperture configured to align with each of the at least one first apertures, and at least one second annular protrusion emanating from the second layer at each of the at least one second apertures.
Integrated electrical, lighting, and charging systems
This disclosure includes a system and method for integrating a power and lighting system into one component for ease of installation under cabinets or other areas. The wiring may be split at the entrance into the chassis. Continuous power may be maintained at the receptacle locations while also powering the line voltage LED lighting via a control device such as, for example, a slide dimmer.
Joint puller for busway assembly
A joint puller includes an arm having a first arm end and a second arm end, and a lever having a first lever end and a second lever end. The first arm end is configured to be pivotally connected to a first busway section, and the second lever end is configured to be pivotally connected to a second busway section. The first lever end is pivotally connected to the arm at a location spaced from the first arm end. The joint puller further includes a stopper extending from the lever at a location spaced from the first lever end. The stopper contacts the arm when the arm is pivoted to a predetermined angle with respect to the lever.
Configurable low voltage power panel
A power distribution system includes a panel assembly that has an outer surface and two conductive structures spaced from each other and spanning beneath the outer surface. An application module is configured to engage one of a plurality of locations disposed over the outer surface of the panel assembly. The application module includes a first contact configured to engage the first conductive structure and a second contact configured to engage the second conductive structure. The second contact is electrically insulated from the first contact and the first conductive structure for the panel assembly to deliver low voltage power to the engaged application module.
Connector with an annular shaped megnetic core
A connector includes a plurality of conductors, a magnetic core, and a housing, the housing includes a housing member that is provided with a housing chamber that houses the plurality of conductors and the magnetic core, an abutment surface on which a core assembling portion abuts, and an opening that is arranged to face the abutment surface at an interval and exposes the core assembling portion housed in the housing chamber outward, the core assembling portion being composed of the respective intermediate portions of the plurality of conductors and the magnetic core housed in the housing chamber; a cover member that closes the opening; and a pressing member that is sandwiched between the cover member and the core assembling portion by pressing the core assembling portion to push the core assembling portion against the abutment surface when the housing member and the cover member are in an assembled state.
