LED lighting tube device and method
An LED lighting tube including a heat-dissipating tubular envelope having an LED assembly directly affixed to an inner surface of the heat-dissipating tubular envelope. A method of making an LED lighting tube by providing a heat-dissipating tubular envelope, and affixing an LED assembly directly to an inner surface of the heat-dissipating tubular envelope with an adhesive layer. A method of providing heat-dissipation without a heat sink in an LED lighting tube by providing a heat-dissipating tubular envelope, affixing an LED assembly directly to an inner surface of the heat-dissipating tubular envelope with an adhesive layer, and dissipating heat through the heat-dissipating tubular envelope.
Power over ethernet connection with power control
A controlled-power RJ45 socket includes a housing having a cavity to receive an RJ45 plug. The socket further includes electrical contacts positioned in the cavity and that come in contact with electrical contacts of the RJ45 plug when the RJ45 plug is plugged into the RJ45 socket. A switch is positioned to disconnect the power to the electrical contacts of the RJ45 socket before the electrical contacts of the RJ45 plug are physically detached from the electrical contacts of the RJ45 socket during a de-mating of the RJ45 plug from the RJ45 socket.
Electric connector and illuminating device comprising the electric connector
The present invention relates to an electric connector and an illuminating device comprising this electric connector, wherein the electric connector comprises a housing and an end cap connected to the housing, wherein an conductor which can be connected to a power supply is arranged in the end cap, wherein the conductor comprises a stationary part and a movable part, wherein the conductor is rotatable relative to the housing along with the end cap from a first position to a second position, wherein the movable parts at least partially retract into the stationary part in the first position, and at least one movable part extends out of the stationary part in the second position so as to be in electric connection with a power consumption component arranged in the housing.

FIXTURE FOR ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS ON POWERED OR POWER-CAPABLE STRUCTURES
A fixture for holding electrical components on an external support structure protects the components from weather, dust, condensation, and mechanical impact. An example fixture includes a shell having an open bottom side; a base configured for sliding engagement with the bottom side of the shell, a first electrical connector held in a selected rotational orientation in the base; and a support frame configured for sliding engagement with the shell. The support frame includes a first component holder; a second component holder rotatably connected to the first component holder; and a third component holder rotatably connected to the second component holder and removably connected to the first component holder. An optional connector on the shell allows the fixture to be installed between a host connector and any previously-installed legacy equipment.
