A device for achieving a mechanical link and optical and/or electrical and/or fluidic transmission between a first element (E1) and a second element (E2), including: a first connection part designed to be fixed to the first element (E1), a first joining member connected optically and/or electrically and/or in fluidic communication with the first element (E1) and mounted on the first connection part, a second connection part designed to be fixed to the second element (E2), and arranged at least in part between the first connection part and the first joining member and defining a ball joint link between the first and second elements, and a second joining member connected optically and/or electrically and/or in fluidic communication with the second element (E2), arranged in the second connection part, the first and second joining members being configured to allow an optical and/or electrical and/or fluidic transmission from one to the other.
Conductive Slip Ring for Logging While Drilling Instrument
The present disclosure relates to a conductive slip ring for logging while drilling (LWD) instrument. The present disclosure utilizes a mechanical conductive slip ring to solve the problems of transmission of electric power and signals between two structures that have relative rotation, and the conductive slip ring has a simple structure, doesn't involve any complex circuit, and has low cost and high reliability. With the conductive slip ring in the present disclosure, there is no power transmission efficiency problem or signal transmission error rate problem. The conductive slip ring has high temperature-resistant, pressure-proof, and vibration-roof abilities, and can be applied widely.
AXISYMMETRIC MAGNETIC ARTICULATING CONNECTOR
Connector inserts and connector receptacles that have a small form factor, readily mate when brought into proximity to each other, and disconnect when subjected to a non-axial force.
POGO MODULE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE COMPRISING SAME
Various embodiments relating to a pogo module comprising a pogo pin for maintaining an electrical connection state when an electronic device is rotated and not rotated are disclosed, and according to one embodiment, the pogo module comprises: first and second housings; module circuit boards provided inside the first and second housings; at least one pogo pin provided to the module circuit board and comprising a rotatable structure electrically connected to at least one electrode pattern included in a printed circuit board of the electronic device; and a support body coupled to the module circuit board to support the at least one pogo pin, wherein the rotatable structure can maintain an electrical connection state with the at least one electrode pattern when the electronic device is rotated or not rotated. In addition, various other embodiments are possible.
SHUNT ASSEMBLY
A shunt assembly for a bearing configuration is disclosed herein. The shunt assembly includes a mesh layer that provides electric contact between a first and second conductive component. The mesh layer can be secured against one of the conductive components via application of a preload, which can be achieved by a spring, O-ring, or other element.
Discharge device and method for discharging electrostatic charges
A discharge device for a rolling bearing as well as a method for discharging electrostatic loads to a rolling bearing including a flexurally elastic conductor. The conductor includes a first conductor section and a second conductor section for forming a contact arrangement at a rolling bearing. The first conductor section electrically engages a first bearing ring and the second conductor section electrically engages a second bearing ring of the rolling bearing to form an electrically conductive connection between the first bearing ring and the second bearing ring.
Systems for Localized Work Return Path and Methods Thereof
Systems and methods for localized work return path of additive manufacturing systems are described. Localized grounding connects the printed surface directly to the work return, and shortens the length of grounding and/or the return cables compared to substrate-based grounding.
Systems and methods for implementing an electrical rotary joint in a large-diameter system using small-diameter capsule slip rings
A system for implementing an electrical rotary joint in a large-diameter system using relatively small-diameter capsule slip rings is described herein. The system includes a system rotor that rotates about a system axis of rotation, and a system stator that is stationary with respect to the system rotor. The system also includes at least one conductive contact channel disposed on one of the system rotor and the system stator. The system further includes at least one capsule slip ring (CSR) coupled to the other of the system rotor and the system stator. The at least one CSR has a conductive annular element coupled thereto, the conductive annular element in mechanical contact with the at least one conductive contact channel such that the at least one CSR forms an electrical rotary joint between the system rotor and the system stator.
Electronic device including flexible display
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device comprises a housing, a flexible display configured to be at least partially rolled around a rotation axis in a substantially circular shape in an internal space of the housing, a battery located in the internal space in which the flexible display is rolled, a first printed circuit board located on one surface of the battery that is oriented in a direction of the rotation axis, the first printed circuit board being electrically connected to the flexible display and including a first wireless communication circuitry, and a second printed circuit board located inside the housing to face the first printed circuit board and including a second wireless communication circuitry. The first printed circuit board may be configured to be rotatable about the rotation axis in a state of being electrically connected to the second printed circuit board.
Deployable self-sustaining shelter
An expandable, mobile structure is capable of sustaining a retracted state and an expanded state, and may be capable of alternately using public utilities as a power supply, or a self-contained off-grid power supply. This allows for use of the mobile structure in a multitude of locations, which are not governed by the presence or absence of an available external power supply. The structure may operate in an on-grid power mode when in an expanded condition, and in an off-grid mode in a retracted condition. The structure includes a different number of zones within the structure in the retracted state as compared to the expanded state. A modular HVAC system provides a different flow path of air in the retracted state and the expanded state.
