Device and Method for Compact Embedded Wire Welding Using a Shape-Forming Electrode

An apparatus includes a set of pre-welding electrodes including a shape-forming electrode having a contact face. The contact face has a shape-forming structure shaping a cross-section of a first segment of a first wire with a pre-welding shape upon compression of the contact face against the first segment. The pre-welding shape has a reentrance accommodating a second segment of a second wire to be welded to the first wire.

SPECIAL- SHAPED JOINT

A special-shaped joint includes at least one connection terminal (1) for connecting an electrical device, and at least one wire (4). The connection terminal is connected to a core (2) of the wire. The special-shaped joint has a simple structure and is easy to assemble. An included angle between the connection terminal and the core is greater than 0 degree and smaller than 180 degrees, so that the special-shaped joint can be applied to an electrical device with a specific connection requirement for the included angle between the connection terminal and the wire, thus having a wide application range.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ELECTRICAL CONTACT ASSEMBLY AND ELECTRICAL CONTACT ASSEMBLY

A method for producing an electrical contact assembly includes. Providing a contact carrier of a first conductive material, the contact carrier having at least one depression or an aperture. Furthermore, a contact material support of a second conductive material is provided. This contact material support is pressed in the depression or the aperture while at the same time applying an electrical welding voltage to the contact material support and the contact carrier, a pressing-force/welding-current/time profile being chosen such that the contact carrier and the contact material support form a connection including interlocking and/or frictional engagement and a connection including material bonding in one working step.

METHOD TO DETERMINE QUALITY OF TERMINATION OF WIRE USING THERMAL CHARACTERISTICS

A wire terminating apparatus and method which allows for determining the quality of a wire termination. The method includes terminating the wire, monitoring the thermal properties of the termination with one or more thermal sensors and comparing the monitored thermal properties to stored thermal properties to determine if the termination is defective. If the termination is defective, the termination is discarded. The apparatus includes a wire termination zone. A thermal sensor is mounted on the wire terminating apparatus proximate the wire termination zone. The thermal sensor monitors the thermal properties of the termination to determine if the termination is defective.

Device for soldering an electrical conductor with a connection device

A device for soldering an electrical conductor with a connection device includes a base plate having a passageway and an anvil mounted on the base plate and at least partially housed in the passageway. The anvil is electrically insulated from the base plate and positioned to allow an electrical current to pass through the electrical conductor and/or the connection device.

BUS BAR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

A bus bar and a method of manufacturing the same may include a first metal portion made of a first metal material; and a second metal portion made of a second metal material different than the first metal portion. The first metal portion and the second metal portion are coupled by a rotation friction welding (RFW).

Joining method of electric wires

In a joining method of an electric wire, an end of a first conductor is held by a holding surface of a first jig electrode from an outer circumference side and an end of a second conductor is held by a holding surface of a second jig electrode from an outer circumference side to butt and join the ends of the first conductor and the second conductor in the axial direction while heating the ends. Then, a melted material is bulged outward from an outer circumferential surface of a joining portion to a bulge molding portion formed to surround a joining portion of the ends of the first conductor and the second conductor.
