Each one end portion of the connectors and the cap is provided with a fitted portion and a fitting portion to be fitted in the fitted portion. The fitted portion is provided with an opening portion for moving the fitting portion so as to absorb thermal expansion from one end portion side to the other end portion side due to temperature conversion of reflow.

BIASING DEVICE FOR DETECTING A CONDUCTOR POSITION AND WIRE PROCESSING EQUIPMENT
20220163312 · 2022-05-26 ·

The present application provides a biasing device for detecting a conductor position and wire processing equipment. The biasing device has a bracket, a first drive mechanism, and a detection mechanism. The first drive mechanism has a first support shaft and a mounting slide block rotatably arranged on the bracket, and a mounting slide block, the mounting block can move relative to the bracket along the extension direction of the first support shaft when the first support shaft rotates; the detection mechanism is fixedly connected to the mounting slide block, and is arranged movably relative to the bracket along the extension direction of the first support shaft to determine whether the measured conductor is located in the detection area of the designated position. The biasing device provided by the present application compensates for the offset of the heat shrinkable tube by adversely adjusting the position of the detection mechanism in advance, thereby ensuring that the heat shrinkable tube is accurately wrapped on the exposed conductor surface at the designated position of the wire in the subsequent process and increasing the scope of application.

Battery module

A battery module includes a plurality of pouch-type secondary batteries arranged to be stacked in at least one direction, each secondary battery having an electrode lead, and a bus bar made of an electrically conductive material and bonded to at least two electrode leads of corresponding secondary batteries to electrically connect the corresponding secondary batteries to each other. Each bonded electrode lead may be configured to protrude from the corresponding secondary battery in a front and rear direction, and at least one of left and right side surfaces of each bonded electrode lead may be bonded to the bus bar.

Methods and apparatus for installing sleeve on cable using active dimensional analysis
11342691 · 2022-05-24 · ·

An apparatus that melts and monitors sleeves for installation onto shielded cables. The apparatus includes a heat source for melting the sleeve, cable supports for supporting the cable during the melting process, a sensor system that is configured to measure a dimension of the sleeve during melting, and a computer that is connected to receive sensor data from the sensor system and send heater control signals to the heat source. The computer is configured to receive dimensional data from the sensor system, monitor that dimensional data by performing a dimensional analysis, and then deactivate or remove the heat source in response to dimensional analysis results indicating that the sleeve is fully melted (in the case of a solder sleeve) or only fully shrunken (in the case of a dead end sleeve) onto the cable.

LASER WELDING OF SQUARE BUTT JOINTS BETWEEN COPPER SUBSTRATES

A method of joining electrical connections together includes evaluating at least one weld joint between at least two substrates, determining a mismatch between the at least two substrates, and welding the at least two substrates together with a multi-step welding process. The multi-step welding process includes compensating for the mismatch between the at least two substrates by welding on both sides but not overlapping a joint line between the at least two substrate with a first welding step and increasing melt volume and penetration depth of a weld between the at least two substrates with a second welding step.

Soldering aid for connecting a cable to a printed circuit board

A soldering aid for connecting a cable to a printed circuit board includes an electrically insulating body having a first, second and third recesses, and an electrically conductive contact structure coupled thereto. The contact structure is partially embedded in the body to be connected to a cable core therein, and partially protrudes from the body to be connected the printed circuit board. The first recess is conically tapered to receive an end portion of the cable and has first and second sections for non-stripped and stripped portions of the cable end portion, respectively. An end of the second recess adjoins the second section of the first recess to enable optical verification of formation of a connection between the cable core and the contact structure. The third recess is configured to receive and transfer solder to the second section of the first recess to thereby form the connection.
