TERMINAL CRIMPING DEVICE
A terminal crimping device includes a lower mold and an upper mold. The lower mold has a lower contact face onto which a crimping and forming part is to be mounted, and a lower mold recessed part that is recessed in an opposite direction to a crimping direction and a lower mold projecting part that projects in the crimping direction, respectively from both end parts of the lower contact face in width directions when viewed in front-rear directions. The upper mold has an upper contact face, an upper mold recessed part and an upper mold projecting part.
Connecting element, assembly connection and circuit board arrangement
Embodiments of a connecting element for connecting a first electrical assembly to a second electrical assembly may comprise a rigid, tubular outer housing made of an electrically conductive material and an electrical cable running inside the outer housing along a longitudinal axis of the outer housing. The electrical cable may include at least one inner conductor and a dielectric layer surrounding the at least one inner conductor. At least one segment of the outer housing may be reshaped along the longitudinal axis in such a way as to fix the electrical cable inside the outer housing.
Dieless Utility Crimper
Embodiments of the invention provide a crimper for use in a tool. The crimper can include a clevis, a nest, and an indenter. The clevis can include a first leg having a first slot and a second leg having a second slot. The first leg and the second leg can extend from a cylindrical body that has a base surface. The indenter can be configured to be moved from a retracted position to an extended position. The indenter can include a body with a work surface and a base on opposing sides of the body. The base of the indenter can be configured to engage the base surface of the cylindrical body when the indenter is in the retracted position.

Crimping Pliers Die and Crimping Pliers
The invention relates to a crimping pliers die (1) comprising two die half units (2, 3). The die half units (2, 3) are guided by a guide (51) relatively to each other over the crimping stroke. Crimping surfaces (40, 41) of the die halves (5) are formed by front surfaces of engaging ribs (37). Preferably, the guide (51) comprises a guiding rod (43) formed by an end-sided thickening (42) of a rib (37) and the guide (51) comprises a guiding recess (50) formed by a guiding recess section (45) which connects two ribs (37) to each other.
The crimping pliers die (1) can be used for crimping pliers which can e. g. be used for crimping wire end sleeves.

Multicore cable manufacturing method
A multicore cable manufacturing method for manufacturing a multicore cable with reduced influence on high-frequency characteristics is provided. The multicore cable manufacturing method includes a plurality of crimping dies, each crimping die being constituted of a pair of dies to connect, by crimping, each electric wire and each terminal. The plurality of crimping dies is configured to substantially simultaneously connect the plurality of electric wires and the plurality of terminals, and the crimping die is configured to connect a front end portion of each electric wire and each terminal with the front end portions of the plurality of electric wires extending radially centering on a branch point located on a rear side of the front end portion.
PRODUCTION OF PRESS-FIT AND CRIMP CONNECTIONS IN A VICE
This disclosure relates to a method for connecting a strand element to a connection element using a re-shaping method, such as a connecting a cable lug. A system is also disclosed which comprises a pair of receiving elements having a front side with a recess and a hollow section. The hollow section is designed to accommodate a press insert having a front side with a recess. The receiving element and the press inserts are arranged in a vice. The system also comprises a clamp having a front side with a recess, which is suitable for receiving the connection element. When a pair of receiving elements is arranged, together with the press insert, around a central region of the connection element, then a re-shaping connection, such as a crimp connection, is produced between the strand element and the connection element.
