A connection structure of a waterproof overall contains: two trouser legs, two connection bands, two cloth rings, and two waterproof strips. The two connection bands are connected with two inner walls of two bottoms of the two trouser legs respectively and are made of a same waterproof material as two waterproof shoes. The two cloth rings are adhered on the two inner walls of the two bottoms of the two trouser legs below the two connection bands respectively by using glue. The two waterproof strips are adhered between the two cloth rings and the two connection bands individually by using the glue. The two waterproof shoes are connected with the two trouser legs by using the two connection bands individually, and the two cloth rings and the two waterproof strips separate the two waterproof shoes from the two trouser legs respectively, thus avoiding the glue contacting the overall.

The present invention relates to a method for the production of plastic footwear (10; 100) of the full plastic type by means of moulding using a polyurethane mixture (M; P). The method comprises the steps of: providing a mould (20) having a mould cavity (22) defined by at least two impressions (28, 30) and designed to receive a shoe last (24) so as to define, when the mould (20) is closed, an interspace (26) having the shape and dimensions of the plastic footwear (10; 100) to be produced; spraying a polyurethane mixture (M, P) onto said at least two impressions (28, 30) of the mould cavity (22); inserting the shoe last (24) inside said mould cavity (22); closing the mould cavity (22) so that the sprayed polyurethane mixture (M, P) occupies said interspace (26); opening the mould (20), once at least the demoulding time (td) for the sprayed polyurethane mixture (M, P) has lapsed, such that the sprayed polyurethane mixture (M, P) has solidified inside the interspace (26) forming said plastic footwear (10, 100); extracting the shoe last (24) from the mould cavity (22); removing the plastic footwear (10, 100) from the shoe last (24).

The present technology relates generally to a footwear assembly and method of manufacturing said footwear assembly. The footwear assembly includes an outsole and an upper connected to the outsole, where the upper includes a neoprene sock, a vulcanized rubber layer, and an injection molded layer. The neoprene sock is a full-foot neoprene sock having a foot portion that is configured to receive a wearer's foot. The vulcanized rubber layer fully covers a vamp portion, heel portion, toe portion, and ankle portion of the neoprene sock while only covering some of an underfoot portion. The injection molded layer is formed over a portion of the vulcanized rubber layer and completely covers the underfoot portion of the neoprene sock.

The present technology relates generally to a footwear assembly and method of manufacturing said footwear assembly. Provided are systems and methods for integrated control and safety systems (ICSSs) that employ intelligent personal protective equipment (PPE). In some embodiments, an industrial plant system includes an industrial safety system (ISS) for monitoring a safety status of an industrial plant and one or more intelligent PPE systems worn by personnel located in the industrial plant. Each of the intelligent PPE systems includes one or more intelligent PPE devices for sensing personal and environmental characteristics of a person wearing the intelligent PPE system, and transmits safety data corresponding to the personal and environmental characteristics sensed. The ISS collects the safety data, determines (based on the safety data) whether a safety incident has occurred and, in response to determining that a safety incident has occurred, executes a response to the safety incident.
