An apparatus is provided for connecting and disconnecting a tubular fitting connector to a fluid conduit. A cradle assembly accommodates the fluid conduit, and includes a body having a first port and a second port. The first and second ports are disposed at opposite ends of the body, and each port is configured for receiving an end cap of the tubular fitting to fasten or unfasten the end cap for replacement. A connector holder is disposed between the first and second ports, and is configured for accommodating insertion of the connector. A holder assembly is provided for accommodating insertion of the tubular fitting. The cradle assembly is reciprocable relative to the holder assembly for transitioning the cradle assembly between a first position, a second position, and a third position.

Flush syringe with disinfecting feature

Flush syringe assemblies are described herein. Such flush syringe assembly may include a barrel including a side wall defining a chamber, an open proximal end, a distal end having a distal wall with an elongate tip extending distally therefrom having a passageway therethrough in fluid communication with said chamber. A collar may be mounted on the distal wall of the barrel and surrounding the elongate tip. A disinfectant-loaded swab may be disposed in the collar. The flush syringe assembly may also include a removable cap.

Universal Single-Use Cap For Male And Female Connectors

A device for connection to a medical connector, the device includes an outer cap, an inner cap and a peelable seal. The outer cap configured to define a chamber to contain an absorbent material and disinfectant or antimicrobial agent. The outer cap including one or more threads adapted to engage with a female luer connector. The inner cap including one or more thread-tabs adapted to engage a male luer connector. The peelable seal prevents the disinfectant or the antimicrobial agent from exiting the chamber.

Patient fluid line access valve antimicrobial cap/cleaner

Methods for cleaning and antiseptically maintaining patient fluid line access valves to minimize the risk of infection via catheters. The methods include cleaning patient fluid line access valves devices with a cap that may contain a dry pad impregnated with an antimicrobial agent. Covering the access portion of the access valve when not in use with the cap. The devices have a hood that contains a wet pad impregnated with a cleaning solution and, optionally, an antimicrobial agent. The methods include wet pad cleaning the access portion of the access valve prior to and optionally, after the access valve is utilized to access the patient fluid line.
