INTEGRATED ASEPTIC SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A bag assembly that includes a bag portion having first and second walls defining an interior and an opening. The interior is formed by the first and second walls of the bag portion being attached to each other along at least a portion of a perimeter of the bag assembly up to one end of the bag portion. Portions of the first and second walls of the bag portion that are not attached to each other form the opening. The bag assembly also includes an aseptic system for sterile connection and disconnection of the bag assembly from a sterile process, the aseptic system being continuously formed at an interface between the aseptic system and the one end of the bag portion. The aseptic system includes an internal passage to allow fluid communication with the interior of the bag portion and the sterile process.

Connection systems and methods thereof for establishing an electrical connection through a drape
Connection systems are disclosed for establishing one or more electrical connections through a drape. An example connection system includes a first connector and a second connector configured to connect to each other. The first connector includes a first-connector housing, an electrical lead extending from the first-connector housing, and at least a first piercing element within the first-connector housing configured to pierce the drape. The first piercing element is orthogonally connected to the electrical lead. The second connector includes a second-connector housing and at least a first receptacle within the second-connector housing. The first receptacle is configured to form at least a first electrical connection of the one or more electrical connections with the first piercing element when the first connector is disposed over the second connector with the drape therebetween. Methods are also disclosed herein for establishing one or more electrical connections through a drape with the connection systems.

MEDICAL DEVICES FOR BLOOD REFLUX PREVENTION AND METHODS OF USE
Described is a catheter patency maintenance device comprising of a flush syringe, an elongate plunger rod with a stopper slidably positioned within the barrel, a cap, disinfectant and a valve movable between an open position and a closed position. The valve may include a valve stem and/or openings in the valve to permit fluid flow. Methods of using the flush syringe assemblies are also described.
MULTI-USE DISINFECTING CAP
A multi-use disinfecting cap and method for disinfection and protection of a needleless IV injection port. The disinfecting cap has an upper chamber which contains a sterilizing solution and a low chamber which connects to a needleless IV injection port. The fluid can be manipulated to flow between the two chambers. When in use the cap protects and disinfects a needleless IV injection port when exposed prior to injecting medication into the needleless port and continues to disinfect and protect prior for any subsequent exposures. The cap is re-usable and provides a clear indication of the disinfecting solution and a datable top surface. The multi-use disinfecting cap may be removably clipped to the IV tubing and is shaped to prevent accidental rolling away if dropped.
