Remote controlled circuit breaker panel system
A electrical distribution system has been developed to provide a remote central control point for individual circuits, and methods have been developed for retrofitting it to existing service panels or installing it into new service panels. This system provides a power circuit monitoring and control system that fits inside standard residential service panels, both new and retrofitted panels. The entire system can be retrofitted into existing breaker panel systems without the need of removing any permanent structure such as a wall. During this retrofit process, the panel cover on the existing distribution panel is first removed after the power to it is disconnected. The old breaker assembly is removed from the panel, and a circuit controller is then installed in the now available space within the panel. A new service panel enclosure with a circuit breaker assembly is installed directly over top of the enclosure.
Meter hub safety isolation service entrance disconnect switch
A meter hub safety isolation service entrance disconnect switch includes an enclosure configured to mount outside a building and protect contents of the enclosure from ingress of solid foreign objects or the ingress of rain, sleet, or snow and that will be undamaged by the external formation of ice on the enclosure. The enclosure has a dead front cover and removable outside cover in which the outside cover is marked to inform a first responder that the enclosure contains a disconnect switch. The disconnect switch is operable upon removal of the outside cover while the dead front cover remains in place and includes a multi-pole switch having poles sufficient to convey power, neutral and ground as may be required by an electrical power source for a load center serving the premises, the switch opening poles for power and neutral upon actuation, while maintaining the ground of the premises wiring.
Method and Apparatus for Securing a Watthour Meter Box
A locking bracket and a lock housing wherein the locking bracket generally comprises a clamping member and a fastening lever that attaches to a wall of a meter box base. The lock housing generally comprises a unitary member with a perpendicular flange. The meter box lid is secured to the meter box base when the locking bracket is secured to the side wall and used in combination with the lock housing and a locking shaft.

Modularly assembled control panels
Systems, apparatus, methods, and techniques of assembly of discrete modules of a control panel are disclosed. The modules can be independently wired, tested, and installed into a control panel. Module definitions are defined specifying components to perform the electrical function, a mechanical arrangement of the components, electrical connections, and logical interactions of the module. A bill of materials can be generated based on a designation of a set of modules for a control panel and the module definitions. Modularly assembled control panels are disclosed. An assembly frame is described herein for temporarily mounting components of a module for independent assembly of a control module and for eventual removal and installation into a control panel frame. The assembly frame may include a faceplate frame and side frames and temporary mounting features.
