A user may activate or deactivate a given fuse or circuit breaker by touching the corresponding image on the touch screen.

One face has apertures for receiving fixing screws to fix the enclosure to a wall or surface. There is a lid to close the opening. Spacer members separate the enclosure from the surface. Each has a bore extending through it and a threaded portion extending from a surface of the face which engages the apertured face of the enclosure. For each spacer there is a cap for covering the aperture and sealing the apertured face. Also provided for each spacer is a retainer for threading onto the externally threaded portions when the spacer's threaded portion extend through the apertured face.

wherein the at least one switch cabinet has an individual machine-readable switch cabinet identification and the at least one removably mounted component has an individual machine-readable component identification, which are assigned to one another, wherein re-assigning the component to the switch cabinet comprising machine-reading of the machine-readable identifications and bringing together the component and the switch cabinet which have the mutually assigned identifications.

An electrical enclosure for an electrical device or instrument includes an enclosure body defining an interior that receives the electrical device or instrument, the enclosure body including a back wall. A mounting foot is disposed outside the enclosure body and attached to the back wall. The mounting foot includes a generally planar body defining a mounting fastener opening that receives a fastener to secure the mounting foot to a wall or other support structure. A panel fastener is attached to and extends forward from the mounting foot, through the back wall, and into the interior of the enclosure body. The panel fastener is used to secure an internal panel to the enclosure body within the interior of the enclosure body.

A door is coupled to the body to selectively close the front opening. First and second end caps are sealingly coupled to the body around the first and second end openings. A first ledge, formed by the single material sheet, surrounds the first end opening and lies in a first plane perpendicular to the front, rear, and side panels. A second ledge, formed by the single material sheet, surrounds the second end opening and lies in a second plane parallel to the first plane.
