Interlock system for an electrical installation

An interlock system includes a number of lock assemblies and a number of keys. Each key is associated with at least one lock assembly. The number of lock assemblies includes a number of actuator lock assemblies and a number of multi-purpose lock assemblies. The number of keys includes a number of actuator keys and a number of multi-purpose keys. At least one lock assembly is operatively coupled to a reliable indicator.

The present disclosure relates to a withdrawable base module for a switch. The withdrawable base module comprises a base coupled to a busbar for electrically connected to the switch; a conversion assembly coupled to the base and comprising a drive mechanism, a first female contact and a carrying mechanism adapted to carry the switch; and an auxiliary assembly being slidable relative to the conversion assembly and comprising a first male contact electrically connected to the switch; wherein the drive mechanism is operable to drive the auxiliary assembly to cause the first male contact to move towards and contact the first female contact. The withdrawable base module according to embodiments of the present disclosure can provide a test circuit for the switch, and can achieve the rocking-in or rocking-out of the switch without additional human intervention after completion of the test.

A closing state and opening state of an arc extinguishing part may be easily recognized through an indicator and an arc accident may be minimized.

The pin assembly may be coupled to a biasing element that is coupled to the drum. A plurality of indicia may be positioned or mounted on the biasing element, such as via a windable indicator plate, and may provide a visual indication through a window of the electrical housing of the relative position of the displaceable electrical component.

A removably connected roof panel permits selective front accessibility to the bus bar compartment through the plenum chamber and a flap movably connected to the bus bar compartment. A wall of the cable connection compartment includes an opening and a portion of a wall of the voltage transformer compartment is removably connected to facilitate access to the cable connection compartment from a front of the enclosure. An interlock assembly is selectively configurable to facilitate control over movement of the voltage transformer and the door by disconnected, test and service configurations.

High-speed communications coupling for use in a circuit breaker assembly

A secondary disconnect assembly for use with a circuit breaker moveable between a connected position and a disconnected position includes a first secondary disconnect apparatus and a second secondary disconnect apparatus. The first secondary disconnect apparatus includes a first coupling portion having at least one high speed communications connector. The second secondary disconnect apparatus includes a second coupling portion removably coupled to the first coupling portion. The second coupling portion includes at least one opening configured to receive the high speed communications connector when the circuit breaker is moved from the disconnected position to the connected position to enable high speed data transmission through the first coupling portion and the second coupling portion.

In the present disclosure, a link part is connected to a worm wheel rotated according to rotation of a worm gear and a movement member is connected to the link part, whereby a rotational motion of the worm wheel is changed to a translational motion in a horizontal direction through the link part and the movement member. Thus, although an indicator is positioned on an upper side of a handle insertion part, a position according to movement of a circuit breaker body may be easily indicated, while using a simple structure.
