Cable shaving tool
A cable-shaving tool for midspan shaving of a cable jacket includes a housing bottom having a first hinge member along an upper edge, a cavity, and at least one cable groove extending through a length of the housing bottom. The cable-shaving tool includes a second housing shell having an interior portion having at least one recess having an upper control surface, an exterior portion, and a second hinge member along a second housing shell edge engageable with the first hinge member wherein the second housing shell is rotatable about the first hinge member. The cable-shaving tool includes a blade removably securable between a blade holder and a blade support surface on the housing lid, the blade extending within a portion of the recess and a movable cable ramp disposed in the cavity of the bottom housing for urging the cable toward the blade when the second housing shell is in a closed position.
CABLE MANAGEMENT SPIRAL
A cable management assembly may include a cable management spiral and a cable bundle in operative engagement to the cable management spiral. The cable management spiral may be a spring coil, such as a stainless steel spring coil. Heat shrink wrap and/or sheathing may be used to operatively engage the cable bundle to the cable management spiral. The cable management assembly may be installed on a telescoping mast assembly.
QUAD-SHIELD COAXIAL CABLE
A quad-shield coaxial cable includes, an elongated center conductor extending along a longitudinal axis, an insulator coaxially surrounding the inner conductor, an inner conductive foil layer coaxially surrounding the insulator, an inner layer of braided shield coaxially surrounding the inner foil layer, an outer layer of braided shield coaxially surrounding the inner layer of braided shield, an outer conductive foil layer coaxially surrounding the outer layer of braided shield, and a jacket coaxially surrounding the outer conductive foil layer.
CABLE SHAVING TOOL

The cable-shaving tool includes a second housing shell having an interior portion having a recess with an upper control surface, an exterior portion, and a second hinge member along a second housing shell edge engageable with the first hinge member. The second housing shell is rotatable about the first hinge member.
Insulating film removal method, insulating film removal apparatus, and rectangular conductor
An insulating film removal method according to the present disclosure includes first, second, and third removal steps. In the first removal step, an insulating film coated on a junction surface and an opposed surface opposed to the junction surface is removed, the junction surface being a surface where a rectangular conductor is joined with another rectangular conductor. In the second removal step, a corner of the rectangular conductor is removed so that a burr is formed on the junction surface and a side surface, the side surface adjoining the junction surface and the opposed surface. In the third removal step, the insulating film coated on the side surface is removed so that a burr is formed on the junction surface side.
