DEVICE AND METHOD FOR REMOVING A SHEATH OF ELECTRICAL CONDUCTORS
A method of removing an inner sheath of electrical conductors of a multicore cable (K) having a film located between a shielding or an insulation and the inner conductors. The method comprising the steps of clamping of the cable (K), cutting of the inner sheath, establishing a connection with a pull-off means (5), and subsequently pulling off a cut or a cut-off sheath in a longitudinal direction of the cable (K).
Wire Twister for Powered Driver
A wire twisting device for use with a typical power driver, in the shape of a plate whereby the wires can be engaged by the device by sliding the wires through cut-outs in the outer edge of the plate to a respective port appropriately sized to accept the wire and hold in place until driver can be engaged to twist the wire into the desired braided position, connecting the wires and allowing a junction to be completed by the user.
WIRE PREPARATION DEVICE
A wire preparation device includes a motor, a device housing coupled to the motor, and a wire spinner held by the device housing. The wire spinner is mechanically connected to the motor via power coupling components. The wire spinner extends to a wire end that protrudes from the device housing. The wire spinner includes a collet sleeve defining a channel configured to receive an end of one or more wires of a cable therein through an opening at the wire end. The wire spinner further includes an outer collar surrounding the collet sleeve and selectively movable relative to the collet sleeve to force the collet sleeve to contract radially inward for releasably securing the one or more wires within the channel. The wire spinner is rotated by the motor relative to the device housing to untwist or straighten the one or more wires secured within the collet sleeve.
Apparatus for selectively opening up a portion of a cable
An apparatus (10) for selectively opening up a portion of a cable (12) is provided. The apparatus (10) includes a first guide (14) arranged to receive a core (16) of the cable (12). A second guide (18, 20) is spaced laterally apart from the first guide (14) and is arranged to receive one or more outer wires (22, 24) of the cable (12). The second guide (18, 20) is also arranged to draw a portion of the one or more outer wires (22, 24) of the cable (12) away from the core (16) of the cable (12) as the cable (12) is passed through the apparatus (10) when in use.
Terminal treatment apparatus for a coaxial cable to separate a sheath from a conductor
A terminal treatment apparatus for a coaxial cable including a core member having an inner conductor covered with an insulator, an outer conductor provided around the core member and formed of a plurality of wires, and a sheath covering an outer circumference of the outer conductor, includes a widening terminal to widen the outer conductor away from the core member by compressing a terminal-near portion of the exposed outer conductor from an outer circumferential side of the coaxial cable to deform the terminal-near portion of the exposed outer conductor.
BINDING MACHINE
A binding machine includes a wire feeding unit configured to feed a wire to be wound on an object to be bound, a cutting unit configured to cut the wire wound on the object to be bound, and a binding unit configured to twist the wire wound on the object to be bound. The cutting unit includes a pair of blade parts configured to interpose the wire therebetween and cut the wire. One or both of the pair of blade parts include a delay part which is configured to delay cutting a part of the wire as compared to a remaining part of the wire.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR REMOVING A SHEATH OF ELECTRICAL CONDUCTORS
A device for removing a sheath of electrical conductors of a preferably multicore cable (K), preferably comprises at least one holding arrangement/clamping device for clamping the cable (K), and a measuring arrangement (1), which can preferably be rotated about the longitudinal cable axis, for the sheath. A pull-off device (A) for the at least partially cut sheath is integrated into the device. This pull-off device (A) comprises pull-off mechanism (5), which is designed for non-positive connection to the sheath and for exertion of a force on the sheath parallel to the cable axis. The invention further relates to a method of removing an inner sheath of electrical conductors of a multicore cable (K).
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ALIGNING PREFABRICATED CABLE ENDS OF A CABLE HARNESS IN CORRECT ROTATIONAL POSITION
The present invention relates to a method and a device for aligning prefabricated cable ends (111, 121) of a cable strand (100), twisted in particular, with at least two cables (110, 120) in the correct rotational position, wherein the entire cable strand (100) is rotated by means of a rotary gripping device (30) on a section (101) which is connected to the cable ends and is rotated by means of a rotary gripping device (30) in particular, and each cable (110) that has already been aligned remains secured in its ideal rotational position in a section (112) of its free cable end (111), in particular untwisted, by means of a respective cable grip (10, 20).
Untwist tool
An exemplary system may be configured for wire operations. The system may include a wire tool and a drive device operatively connected to the drive device. The wire tool may include a tool body having a rotational axis. The tool body may include an outer shell, a distribution hub, one or more radial walls extending between the distribution hub and the outer shell, and respective channels formed by the outer shell, the distribution hub, and the one or more radial walls.
TWIST CORRECTION DEVICE AND TWIST CORRECTION METHOD
A twist correction device includes an untwisting mechanism and a controller, the untwisting mechanism being configured to grip a multi-core twisted wire by means of a pair of gripping elements, wherein the pair of gripping elements is configured to slide together toward a tip side of the multi-core twisted wire while performing a relative stroke position offset movement of the pair of gripping elements in a direction of untwisting for untwisting the multi-core twisted wire, wherein when the pair of gripping elements is positioned on an exposure side end side of the multi-core twisted wire, the controller is configured to perform operation control with a smaller gripping force in a twist gripping direction as well as a smaller operation force and a smaller position offset amount for the stroke position offset movement than when the pair of gripping elements is positioned on the tip side.
